Today's POL Update / Anti-virus / POL Errors

I've been doing that this whole time and it still won't work, keeps saying my SE ID or Password is wrong. Can log onto the website just fine with my SE account and password but can't login to POL with it, converted it to Square-Enix account and everything. Just rejects password over and over, tried with onscreen keyboard and just typing.

Click your account on the POL viewer.

Click settings

Type in your SQUAREENIX account name on the bottom of the settings page where it says "SQUAREENIX ACCOUNT" and make sure the one time key is set to "DO NOT USE"

Click OK and go back to the POL viewer main page.

Login.

anyone else having trouble login in a 2nd toon? Ever since the pol update i'm getting FFXI-3001 error... regardless of which toon i log in as 2nd

did you get the problem fixed? I'm having the exact same issue. I've adjusted my settings with my SE name and it is definately set up to not use one time key pw. Can log into the website but pol giving me a PW error even though they are linked and settings changed in viewer.

Well, considering I just got a headache with all the linking, passwords, accounts, and whatnot... I have to imagine it'll take RMT at least a month to mess this up.

BIG THING: Make sure you actually link your Square-Enix account with your Playonline account. Took me 10 minutes to figure that out.

I was having the same problem. The problem will keep happening if your "member" name is the same as your Squeenix name.

Just change your member name to something else.

hum, i dont know if this from the update or not, but my mission menu doesnt open with the menu but /mission, and my delivery box in mog is blacked out and my job change asses delivery box -.- cant change jobs outside of a mog atm -.-

I'm getting an error @ the FFXI menu from POL, after the "Word to Our Players" thing I just get sent back to a laggy POL menu instead of FFXI. I tried turning off firewalls, uninstalling Avast and got nothing. Could it be anything else, or do I have some other security thing somewhere that I don't know about?
