LEGACY is amazing. The beat change on Bad Guy gives chills. Headlights, Evil Twin are pretty good too.
Love Game suxs nuts. Should have had K.Dot on Evil Twin. An aggressive Kendrick & Shady on that heavy beat would have been nice. As does So Much Better & Stronger then I Was.
Overall this album is good, especially if it's his last. Has something for all of his Shady/Eminem/Marshal/New/Old school fans.
Got chills when the beat changed on Bad Guy, shit is incredible.
Agreed on everything else above. Can do without a few tracks. Overall a solid album. Can really do without the softer shit. There's still an additional 5 tracks on the bonus disc too. Don't think those have leaked yet.
So those extra songs on the deluxe are pretty sweet.
Desperation
Listening to the album again today, like it much more. Grew on me a lot. Headlights is really fucking touching.
Edit: Goot one, few songs in and already entranced. Sad in the first song he speaks of such morbid things![]()
A buddy at the job said he's doing SNL tonight. Gonna have to find a place to watch it or get somebody to DVR. It's been a long time since I've seen anyone I care about do something on TV.
Except for DMX on Dr. Phil... I did catch that, lol.
Great interview, talks about some cool shit.
The album isn't bad, but more reminds me how much I forgot I liked the old stuff and his stuff with D-12. Fight Music should be on everyone's get psyched mix imo.
Bad Guy is dope but jesus fuck do I hate run on bars man, you're starting to sound like Royce with that bullshit.
this whole album makes me have this:
going through my head the whole time
ever since Stan it seems like the only time he really gets his original energy going is when he's bitching about being famous, and it's just not the same
don't get me wrong, I still love some of it, and the bad meets evil album was sick... but it's just not what it used to be
wtb more songs about hanging out at the laundromat where all the raunchy fat white trash blondes be at, leading to the story of fucking a fat girl to death; all housed in a dreary song with a depressing chorus about the inevitability of time
so what you guys think?
oh i forgot theres a thread for eminem, i never got to mention this but i thought he was fucking awful at lollapalooza. i left 45 minutes in and went to go see zedd instead, which should be an indicator of how bad em was. idgaf if rihanna was there or not, their songs are garbage anyways
sry in advance to day, lol
Loved the Sia parts, sort of tired of Eminem and I don't think this was a good song on his part. Miss Slim Shady LP type stuff from him, oh well...we just have to accept that he's 40 now and has grown up past that shit.
I'm actually the opposite. I really don't care for the chorus but the rest of the song I really liked. I tend to like stuff like Beautiful and 25 to Life more than some of the "dirtier" stuff he does.
they say the new tour is lame as fuck. rihanna sucks and the only good part is ems old shit. brb buying a ticket
its too bad he can't grow as an artist the way a god like kanye can
