Ix'DRG broken?

Me and 2 friends tryed to farm some Ix'DRGs recently, but there is really something wrong or we just very unlucky...
we killed Aerns in the 2 rooms @ NE and NW for about 12 straight hours without a single pop. then we also decided to kill the Aerns in the South rooms but with the same results.

its been a total of 18~ hours now that it hasnt pop... (after the 12 hours we went to sleep and then started again the day after for about 6 hours)

Anyone else not getting a single pop after hours and hours of straight farming recently?

Maybe you should rotate between all four rooms instead of focusing on 2? I know that Ix'DRG can be a bitch alot of the time and you are just unlucky.

This. It popped on like the third day for us as most of our members were on their way to sea.

It always seems like it takes forever with a very small group. At one point, I thought I remember hearing that the placeholder actually rotates every 15 minutes. This could be total B.S., but it seemed like when we had the group to clear all 4 rooms in under 15 minutes, it almost always popped. *Shrug*

State in LS chat that you want to get at least 3 merits before you leave. Have everyone use an exp band. It will pop within 10 minutes, possibly on your first or second kill.

I won't say that Ix'DRG is different than it always has been, that doesn't mean it doesn't need to be fixed though. Haven't seen it the last 5-7 times we've tried.

Seems pretty normal, in all honesty. I've seen longer without a pop.

well, my LS got used to pop one in 3~4 hours at max.

This, it is like they designed it to piss you off as best as possible. Just saying it doesn't work either, it only works when you actually intend to get as much exp as possible (before an event start or something).

what's been said above i will back up as true. if ix'drg wants to be a bastard, he will. that's all there is to it. like drk reraising literally dozenS, that's plural, of times if he wants to, you can just get screwed sometimes. as for the theory that it moves every 15 minutes, i highly doubt it as i seem to remember a testimonial that a group had killed all 12 aern in all 4 rooms with no drg to be seen. if the PH does move and doesn't guarantee a pop of the NM as i assume the moving PH theory does, then for the moving PH theory to be correct they must have either been lying, or there are other aern elsewhere that can act as PH.

qtf. If you think this is "bad luck", then i'd hate to see what we would call your "lucky streak" was. I hate Ix Drg with a passion, and i've gone a full week of 10-12 hours nuking those damn things and not seen it pop, so yea, I would say its pretty normal.

Now, the fun part is, having it actually pop and NOT getting the item you want to drop! again, welcome to sea!!

This works. Put yourself in a situation where you would actually not want it to pop, then it will.

Worked on DRK the other day. 5 am, I'm falling asleep during every mob. Say this is the last mob for me. Kill it, it RRs. Kill it again, close my eyes. As we're leaving I notice I got the message >.< An hour later, no cape of course =/

Ix'DRG definatly isn't broken. Popped after about 20 kills last week, then popped again after the very next aern died.
