Ix'DRG broken?

Seen days without a pop, seen it pop back to back 15 minutes after killing the previous one. (both drop deeds of course, sigh)

Manaburning aerns with 3-5 BLM we usually see it in 2-3 hours. On rare occasions, we've seen under 1 hour and none in 6 hours though.

I have managed to pop it with my 2 characters 2boxing solo BLM+SMN twice.

Once it took 1 hour.

Once it took 11 hours

go figure

Also i have had numerour failed 3-4hr camp fests for SMN buffer

Only works if your need to leave is caused by a circumstance outside of your own doing.

my linkshell did ix'drg a little bit ago, we got him to pop twice in a three hour period. So I'm going to agree, hes not broken.

Popped Ix'DRG again last night. Got to room 4 and decided to -ga3 the mobs, stuff happened only killed one we slept them and we zoned from room 3 to 2. For some reason the mobs didn't deaggro and didn't depop. They came and said "Hi!" to us on the other side of the warp. Slept them in Room 2, ported back and went to room 4 to wait for the repops and they still came back to say "Hi!".

In my previous experience the porter between room 2 and 3 loses hate and should make the mobs depop if they're outside their normal roaming area, however these guys were persistent. So we slept them again in room 4 and said F this and escape. Came back, killed rooms 1-3 again and Ix'DRG popped room 4. Coincidence? Maybe. Anyway... DRG still not broken but possible placeholder for DRG might be?

my last shell had enough ppl to keep all the rooms practically empty for 4 hrs straight, and it never popped. so he is acting as intended. i think the PH shifting rooms every 15 mins may be true, but i think there may be a repop timer on PH from Ix'Drgs ToD.

This sounds about right. I can solo aerns all day on blm in the 2 rooms near portals and wont ever see him. For three weeks straight and for at least 2 hours or more a day in those three weeks i camped him. He spawned once in those three weeks of camping solo. But with a group of 3~5 blm's like Dairyu said he will usually spawn for me within 2~3 hours. One theory is to clear out all 4 rooms within 30 minutes for best chance of pop and that seems to work pretty well. Have a decent chance in him spawning if your on blm and duo with another blm. This was the most difficult piece for me to get for my smn. This NM will always be on my list as the most pain in the ass NM to camp. Sure there are other NM's that have a 21+ hour respawn but at least the damn NM will spawn unlike this NM. For anyone planning on camping this NM goodluck and godspeed on drop you want because its always the opposite of what you want after all that work.

We've defeated Ix'DRG and on the very next aern Ix popped again. This couldn't have been more than 7 minutes from death. If it does have a repop timer it is very minimal.

I was under the impression that both Ix DRK and DRG have little to n respawn timer, I could be wrong.

They can repop in 16 minutes afaik, same for all indoor NMs.

There was a screenshot with 2 deeds in the pool, meaning it repopped after death and died before the treasure pool cleared. Personally, I've seen it repop on the 3rd aern after death. Ix'drk has a minimum timer due to the ??? repop though.

Yea when stuff wakes up it will come find you, they only depop if they are awake when you zoned.

Even without losing hate from zoning, that's a pretty long way to go without deaggro.
