I'll probably alternate what auspice is doing, keep my main job gear in satchel, depends on how easy that is to swap out. If i'm booking it to cerb after warping out an xp party i think ill be bale to get at least a decent set out
As everyone else, food, soulplates, and gear for sch & drg.
Non-upgraded AF1 for level sync. How Will You Utilize Mog Satchel?
i know i WON'T be putting a claustrum in mine. magical explosions are bad.
(for those that miss the joke, play more dos games! or read here: Container - Wikihack)
for me, this is going to serve a number of applications.
first, it's going to be used as a dumping ground for items that sort to me in merit parties. crystals, colibri beaks, etc can now be flushed into this every once in a while to let me sell them later. not a big moneymaker, but you figure a stack of feathers is almost 2k, and after several hours of meriting you get a nice shiny bonus.
second, it's going to let me carry the situational items i didn't have space for before. rather than just bringing the important obis like dark, thunder, ice, etc, i will now be able to bring a full compliment of them. as days and weather pass, i can shift the useful obis in and out of my satchel permitting me to have access to what is on at the time w/o costing me precious space in my primary inventory.
third, i regularly find that the job i went to a raid on is not the job i'm needed on for something else like salvage. by keeping critical gear for other jobs in my satchel, rather than my mog house, i can keep equipment i need on hand so that all i need to do is set my job at my MH and the rest i can do while running.
fourth, i can keep a small supply of "random stuff" on hand as i go about. i'm running to einherjar and spot a logging point. right now, i just have to wave to it and wonder if it would have had a bloodwood log. with the satchel, i can keep 12 axes on hand. i'm running thru halvung to a roach camp or to kill flans but see a mining point. open satchel, get picks, mine khroma, happy taru.
I was too excited with the mannequin update and missed the next paragraph, but my point still stand for other key!
You will save some time if you can do it while autorunning, but it's always risky to forget items in moghouse (unless you only swap between the same 2 jobs). I like to make sure I have everything before I leave town.Originally Posted by Thunderlips

Last sentance, second paragraph.
...I hope everyone has there umbrellas ready, I hear the storm coming! lol
I'm leveling my first mage job now. Pretty self-explanatory.
thats a little lame :/
I will carry around all sets for bluit'll be nice.
Basically, any situational gear +random crap that I couldn't fit in my mog
The more you make, the more you owe. -_-
My general plan is to keep things like Consumables, Keys, Ninja tools, Signal/Tactics pearl. Basically the things that you don't want to forget, that waste time having to go back and retrieve.
I personally am going to put shit in it.
I am 100% in agreement with you, as I often forget stuff in the mog house when trying to change jobs fast.
I would probably keep all my PLD gear in my satchel then just use a windower script to auto-equip me in 1 blink after moving items between bags while running.
Plus being able to carry around meds for everything will be nice.
wind crystals.... hundreds of them
All those little rare/ex things that aren't necessarily needed at all times but are useful to have. Mana/Potion tanks, Chocobo Whistles, Teleport rings and the like. Also weapons, since you aren't really going to equip macro in weapons (except mages), but may want to carry different ones for situations.
BRD instruments, NIN tools, situational RDM crap... this would let me cancel my mules if I thought I could ever recreate them.
