Mad bomber is a good thing although this probably means that the pop rate of NMs will be ajusted..

The only reason there are less usukane bodies than others is that people don't pop it as much as the other NMs, and it's out of the way if you plan to do boss for most groups ; but yeah +1% droprate, before : 5% after 6%, yeah... Same benefit as the 200k GP guildsigns, you break 1% less... supposedly.

They mentioned new bell variants you could craft... perhaps different bells are different octaves? this would let you play music with a buddy or three and/or very very fast macro swaps.

A change to Salvage for the better for sure. I know that my groups bards are pulling out their hair from the combination of MB not popping, GW not popping or when the moons have aligned and both MB and GW actually popped that we still dont get a drop from it, let alone marduk legs. Besides, any other rampart can be popped by skill (even 4th floor) except for MB because you just had that chance of it not popping.

edit: Also, my original group, it needed like, what, 3 usukane shoes? compared to like 6 morrigan hands and 2-3 brd pants or so.

I was able to grap a pair of usukane shoes because no one wanted them, but still waiting to find morrigan hands

/bell Command Bonbons!

Using the "/bell" command while equipped with either a "Dream Bell" or "Dream Bell+1" obtainable from the 2008 Starlight Celebration event will allow your character to flourish said bell to a jovial chime. To specify a note in an octave, simply add a space followed by a number from 1 and 8 to the text command.

Sounds like it'll be like the dances.

/bell 1 thru /bell 8 for the different octaves.

Would be funny if they ninja'd Octave Club to make sounds too.

Thank fucking god @ SSR droprates. Even if it is a 2% increase I'd be happy. I've wasted too many hours of my life doing that zone and seeing nothing. It's also nice that they are changing MB because that condition was retarded to begin with. It will be nice farming 1f, 2f, and 3f instead of no MB, 2f, 3f, and then like 20 mins left but not enough time to do 4f.

Well glad to see that they're fixing MB. Unfortunately my close friend recently got his whm legs 35 so the 2 of us have no reason to go back. Unfortunately i'm one of the few mnks w/o the 35 feet piece and we have like 4-5 rdms or blms.

I can totally see our runs changing from floor 2, 3, or 4 ramps > boss to floor 1 > boss exclusively.

Well glad to see that they're fixing MB. Unfortunately my close friend recently got his whm legs 35 so the 2 of us have no reason to go back. Unfortunately i'm one of the few mnks w/o the 35 feet piece and we have like 4-5 rdms or blms.

There's more than enough time to farm 2 ramparts and do the boss in the same run <_< If nothing has popped and the rampart's at 60%, just kill it and move on

The way SE says "The drop rate for items obtainable from NMs that appear when certain conditions are fulfilled will increase slightly." probably only pertains to Gyroscopic Gear, Gyroscopic Gears, Powderkeg, and Citadel Chelonian. Dekka, and probably even Hammerblow won't be adjusted.

The adjustment will probably be something similar to the drop rate of other zones, as well, and not really a noticeable adjustment by the casual Salvager.

Regardless, fuck you Square Enix.
