Yes, hi, I was a music major and am quite aware of what is involved with a scale. It's called an "octave" because it has "8" notes, being the major scale, "oct" being 8, which includes the top note which is repeating the first note.

But thank you for the correction, because I'm obviously so stupid I don't know that C and C are the same note.

SSR droprate boosts were needed forever (fuck you Powderkeg/Gyroscopic Gears/Citadel) but no Bhaflau Ramparts? I guess because it can in theory drop multiple 35s they left it alone.

Bells/Fellows should have been announced earlier... what happened to the gradual improvements to patch day where the best announcement of all happens =/

Hell WHM adjustment is looking like what they should have saved as todays surprise note.

Technically not true, if I wrote in the key of D#, then you would consider F E# and C B#, and they'd be written that way, since you give a name to each letter in the scale... in.. a scale, in whichever key.

So it'd be D#, E#, F#, G, A, B#, Cx (double sharp), D#

But that's annoying, so I'd just write it in Eb anyway.

Nothing had popped at 60% on yesterday's rampart. 3 Gate Widows then popped, two dropped Macha's Cuffs. I would call this a rather bad plan.

I think you'd probably consider them numbers in an interval before you start calling the notes by different letters! That's a wierd convention; but then again alot of people I know call it do re mi fa so la.

Nice and all but...what happened to the northlands....

I don't understand why ppl are so concerned about getting northlands. The novelty of seeing the war torn zone will be cool for maybe 2 weeks but campaign battles there are gonna suck. Endless waves of shadow hand mobs that'll rape everyone they see like they do in the other zones.

Is it cause of the WotG body pieces? That i guess i could understand

That clearly means only Mad Bomber and Citadel were the ones adjusted, since clearly those are the only NMs that spawn under certain conditions. <.<

If you use movable do!

If you use fixed, then it opens up a whole 'nother can of worms! Di, ri, fi, me, si/sa (depending if you use ti or si for B), li, te, le, se, me, ra. For a D# scale, it would be Ri, fa, sol, si/sa, li, do, re, ri.

I think i have that right.. I know I meant to do Fx in the D# scale earlier too and fudged that up trying to type that post quickly since I"m not supposed to be posting at work!

But it's because of that convention that you DO see double sharps and flats occasionally in music - because of the keys things are in and following theory with chordal progressions and such. It's bizarre, yes.

With that freaking gear only dropping one pair of hands in 1.5 years of salvage spamming, yeah, I want to do a repeat of SSR this week just to see if we can get more crud to drop (Marduk 35 feet do seem to actually exist... that's outside the point).

Maybe our group will see our first 5/5 (have a 14/15 and 13/15 in terms of usukane, myself 11/15 skadi, and I forget where some others are at... but yeah, stupid body, and stupid hands!) finally... who knows.
