And you know, there is no better time to raise your prices on weapons when there is a conflict.

Also, I don't doubt that 90% of weapons are coming from U.S, but I honestly doubt it's from smuggling efforts that go directly to the drug cartel. I think the smuggling is a result of isolated gangs or street merchants trying to undercut the standard going rate in Mexico. I think with the reputation of how easily Mexican officials are bribed, it could be the direct source of weapons are from the Mexican government itself.

Or the C.I.A, they've been known to fund operations by selling drugs/weapons.

A normal trap shoot is 5 sets of 5 rounds, thus 50 shells will net you two games.

Depends on how fast you are shooting

Last time I went I think i used up 100 rounds in a little over an hour. But I was trying out a new gun and had a friend just constantly tossing so I could get a feel for the gun. If I was just out with friends at the range I doubt I would use more than 50 rounds in a couple hours.

depends on how many porch lights, mean dogs and tape recordings of shotgun blasts you bring with you.

make sure you buy the right shells. some ranges have restrictions on what you can shoot at clays. might want to give them a quick call so you don't waste your money.

that'd be a cheap, short day at the range for me. usually spend about $100 or more per range trip, then again I only go a few times a month and it's my hobby so I guess it isn't so bad for me.

being that I only hit the range maybe 6-7 times a year , think my last range day was well over $500 in consumables for reloading. Would have been well over a grand if I didn't reload.

I think the ban expired. Either way, you can always drive down to Virgina and get as many as you want. Some vendors will even sell you AKs, M16s without background check if you pay them enough. It baffles me as to why people need AK, M16, and .50 cal.

I think assault weapons should be treated like FA weapons, special license, federal background check, that sort of thing.

Also, the laws in Virginia really need to tighten up. I will completely agree that buying a firearm with no registration or background check is bogus and irresponsible.
