Do you get an option "yes / no" when you are about to obtain get the item ? Because it says something like "Do you want to obtain this augmented item?".

Maybe you can skip and get more than one option ??
But well since so many ppl tried augements i think its not possible. I just wonder why it asks you if you wnat to obtain the item or not.

I traded in a Leather Vest +1 at Xarcabard last night and got this...

Lightning Resist +3
Ranged Attack +1
Resist Paralyze +1

Not bad for a lowbie RNG at Lv. 7 to be honest. I'm going to try again this time using a piece of HQ Lv. 17 Lizard gear that I synth'd on my mule and see if the "HQ = no negative stats" theory holds true.

Wind +8 and Dark +6 on battle gloves from Qufim. Looking like this random augmenting might be nice for resist builds if someone gets a lucky roll.

Potentially epic win if it's possible to get haste or acc or str or dex or atk or hell anything useful, on a sniper's ring +1.

edit: Seems everyone who did Behemoth NM ended up with resistance. Perhaps this is how it works? They probably did this so that the good stats can only be tagged onto low level gear (Through the other FoV). Still, there's the 45 and 40 one to try for Sniper's at least.
