    It also seems very likely that the other stats found in the .dats we haven't seen on augments yet, will be implemented into the higher level areas. I can see people spending a lot of gil trading Errant Houppelandes trying to augment Magic Attack Bonus or Adds Refresh Effect. Likewise with Haubergeons trying to augment Haste or Store TP.

    I got + 10 Dark resist on a Geist earring in Xarc lol

    I also got +3hp -3Mp on a sniper's it could be worse

    How is this very likely? Don't be retarded.

    I laughed endlessly at the "IM GONNA GET HASTE AND REFRESH ON MY HAUBERGEON +1!!!111!!!" yesterday and I thoroughly support the "Fuck you, faggots" dished out by SE almost as if it was in direct response to this predicted reaction.

    Augment system is stupid but it seems like it could provide some silly fun. I'll keep trying to get a foot item or back item with STR on it below level 50 because well, why the hell not?

    I just thought of something....

    When I did my FoV NM in Xarcabard last night, the NM was Paralyzed for most of the fight due to my Automaton using Paralyze on it at the start of the fight.

    Then the gear gets "Resist Paralyze" +1 on it. Coincidence?

    Anyone willing to test this theory? Maybe try spamming Sleep on the NM?

    I got resist poison on a Gi I traded, but no one in my party casted poison or a spell like it.

    I was spamming blind/para/slow ninjutsu too.

    I can recognize and analyze patterns, and theorize possibilities. I was pretty much bang on when I guessed how augments would work in the first place, not to mention guessing that Red Mage would get a melee stance with a penalty to spell casting, and that it would still be worth using after everyone bitched about how much it sucked when they announced it. But I guess I'm just a retard.

    I'm curious what the Japanese reception of this Augmenting system is like.

    Yes, I know that, I was simply pointing out that those stats might exist and are agumentable even if outside FoV.

    Anyone who has augmented a rare item, have you tried obtaining another (unaugmented) one? Will it let you have two rares if one has been augmented?

    Well Just went and Augmented my Spike necklace in The glacier since that was the most tabs i had and well ...

    was dark weather killed on lvl 75 ninja and it gave...
    + dark resistance /sigh
