My Amber key item was a Gold Ring. HP+5 MP-5 augmented with... MP+10 INT+1 -_-

Eh.. got an AGI+4 ring with amazing augment.. hp+3! Hmm, guess I'll macro it to Wind Maneuver...

Friend got better stuff though: Spinel earring, +3 Acc +1 Subtle blow +1 MND and spinel ring, DEX+4 AGI+1 MND+1.

From the level 75 key. Wish the STR and AGI were the opposite way around. Might still use it for COR WS'es though.

Also, didn't realise you could get a +3 on a ring, thought it was +2 only. Potential for +7 of a stat is droolworthy.

My Amber Key gave me a Nymph Shield with MP+4 on it. All of my other keys gave me junk items. Yay.

It doesn't hold true across the board, but one thing I've noticing is a lot of +/-Stats that correlate with the +/-Resist Element of either that stat, or that stat's Strength/Weakness, and vice-versa. It's more apparent if you check out the Augment thread in the Media Center. Some examples:

Of course, I may very well be grasping at straws here as sometimes the stat or element boost is completely unrelated to that stat or resistance already present on a piece, and obviously some pieces start out neutral in the first place. Though it does seem (anecdotal) that they are correlated more often than would be allowed by mere coincidence.

augmented gear can be desynthed, granted the person has the crafting skill.
got a mythril ring +15hp +1macc +1eva and turned it into an ingot

I have traded every one of my ACP keys on 75PUP/37BST wearing a random assortment of Usukane/Relic/AF/etc and I have not once received any pet stats. I have even got shitty INT/MND stuff... and Swordbelts that I can't even wear on PUP. I call bullshit on the job-related augments.

The game must have seen how fail Pup/Bst job combo is and decided that no augment or gear it could grant would help you.

Why even assume SE would go through the trouble of making your job/stats matter? It's like directional/day/weather crafting... total placebo. Random generator is random.

As a naked SMN, I got a Diamond Ring with MP+6 (and fire resist -30), and an emerald earring with Ranged Acc+2, from my Ebon and Ivory keys. And a handful of wyvern scales from my Amber key.

Didn't SS it but I got an Aurora Mantle with HP+10 & MP +13 augment on top of the base stats.



And I chose the Corsair ACP body. Kinda had to since I'm workin on COR mythic and all =D
