Well, I'm gonna burn a key just trying it on different days, different moonphases, etc.

Assuming I can see what it would have given me (not the item, just the Obtained: Gold Ingot, Obtained: Rainbow Obi message), I can start recording data points much faster, and look for any sort of patterns.

Nonetheless, getting 2 Steel Ingots, 3 Rainbow Obi's 2 of which were identical to the last stat, think I got 2 Mahogany logs... there is hopefully some way to figure this shit out.

I tried to turn in an Azure key yesterday while my inventory was full, and it just gave me the "Come back after you sort your inventory" message. It didn't tell me what I was going to get.

Then I Made some space and got a Mythril Ore and Mythril Ingot back to back...

Has anyone been able to get (from FoV NMs) an augmented stat that was already on the item?

I got -AGI on my Mage's Cuffs which was a kick in the nuts. Not sure on positive returns though.

Dammit, guess I'll farm a key up tonight, save it for the next day, turn it in just long enough before JP midnight to ensure I can get another one, farm that, turn it in, and do a third just after JP midnight.

Ideally we'd have people spamming every moonphase and elemental day, in sequence.

I really don't know what the hell is up with it anymore. I hoped something simple like jobs would be it, but I'm not seeing anything besides my Steel/Steel/Rainbow Obi's (Mp 17 Mnd 3 Interrupt 3, Mp 6 Int 5 Hmp 3 twice) streaks.

Usually do them in the afternoon, gonna have to try varying the day I turn them in I guess.

Wonder if they'd somehow tie the RSE timing system into it. When I mentioned the gorget earlier, it was also another Hume F. For the people who got the diamond thingies, were they the same race/sex?

Edit: Anyone know how 04-21-2009, 08:23 AM would fall on that spectrum? Was about the time I'd gotten that gorget.

Got a Mp +9 Mnd +5 Rainbow Obi on War/Thf today, Lightsday, only one "dims" message, turned in on the same day as I farmed it even.

Least it's good for Chivalry and Pld/Rdm Stoneskin.

Something hit me earlier.

I run through Fei'Yin along the same path, and collect the afterglows in the same order almost every time.

The one that switches from the room on the way from Cassie > Vali's/Retaliator NM's to the rooms in the tunnels leading too Cassie is the main variable, I generally get that one on the way to Cassies pop room.

Today it was on the way to the compass shadow rooms, so I got it, then did the normal pattern I do, but skipped Cassies room.

Realized it instantly and went back to finish the key there.

I've done that before, and this time I got my 3rd steel ingot, lightsday, war/drg turned in.

Ran a friend through the same exact order of afterglows, he got Coeurl gorget, Acc 5 Subtle +1, firesday, blu/thf.

Tomorrow we're doing the same order and turning in simultaneously on firesday, on Blu/Thf, and War/Drg, respectively.

By that pic, I missed 6 today, then did 7 8 9 as usual, ending on 6.
Friend did 1-9 as shown there.
Doing it in that order tomorrow with my guinea pig/friend, and turning in at same time, firesday, Blu75/Thf37, War75/Drg37, Hume and Taru, respectively.

I think you are trying wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too hard to ultimately realize it's completely random.

I do the same pattern of collection as your mape indicates every single time, and I have gone 3~4 days in a row of shitty black pearls and such, then followed up by 3+ days of beak mantles and coeurl gorgets augmented with Poop+1.

I collect the afterglows in the exact same order and have had different results each time. It's random and you're getting the short end of the random stick.

If you claim Nidhogg on 100% Full Moon facing the direction of the current day of the week using non-magic on Light based days, and magic on Dark based days, you'll be guaranteed to get an E.Bd provided you're wearing ample elemental resistance in favor of the element that day is strong to. If you make it to Aery without going through Boyahda Tree, you can get 2 E.Bd's.
