if only the 2nd one was STR/DEX2 ATK1... wouldve been fucking dope
Shortbow (Lv.1): Ice+1, Earth+2
FoV Chapter 4 (Behemoth's Dominion)
Killed on Lightsday, 6:35, Waxing Crescent (14%) on PLD/RDM with Enblizzard.
Those elemental resist augments seem rather low compared to most of the ones I've seen. Maybe the potency of the augment is partially related to the level of the item traded?
That is the conclusion I have come to.
Elite Training NMs... harder ones ONLY allow for higher level gear to be traded.
While level of gear traded dictates the potency of augments. Obviously you're not going to be getting STR+2 and Attack+2 on some lv.1 ring. If you take the same brass rings around to each different FoV NM and augment it, I guarentee you'll see the same shitty +1~2 elemental resist augments with the very rare AGI+1 or something along those lines.
Best results will be to probably trade some of the nicest lv.50 gear...
Spiked Finger Gauntlets?
Sable Cuisses?
Shinimusha Haidate?
Cross-counters?
Hmm..
Has anyone tried relatively worthless gear such as those with +Element Stats only?
I just got fire resist +6 on a dodge earring in behedom on lightsday with lightning weather...
I don't get it.
Yeah, I'm not suggesting that a higher level piece of gear guarantees higher Augments; just that there may be a cap on the magnitude of the augment based on level, and you can randomly get anything up to the cap. Would have to spam a couple more Lv.1 items to support that claim though.Originally Posted by Raineer
I've done FoV elite in Behemoths Dominion around 12 times now. Every time i traded a self bow thinking "hmmm maybe one day i will get some Enmity or something cool for my PLD", and every single result has been +2-4 elemental resist of 1 or 2 elements. I'm starting to think i will need to spend more money to get anything worthwhile on higher level equip.
Darksday1:50 (Game Time) 74% Wanning Gibbous
Beak mantle Acc+6 Evasion+4 Subtle Blow+1,
needless to say, i'm ecstatic...
Got a Sniper Ring with Str +2 Dex -1 Vit -1.Pretty nice!!
Pretty sure it's not a FoV augment there, but rather one of the new mission augments.
Beak mantle is 58, so obviously it is from the key since the cap on manually augmented FoV items is 50.
I got a STR+2, Acc+6, Subtle Blow +1 Beak Mantle back on my first run through the missions.
Booyah!
