ACP Mission Thread

What pieces do you use for your 6-hit with that thing now? I was thinking of doing same as you for my SAM but I was having second thoughts.

Well, to be honest my gear is pretty gimpy/average for the most part. Normally I think well equipped SAMs wouldn't need this armour because they have so many choices, but I don't have such a luxury.

Right now, I would use:

5/5 StoreTP Merits +10 StoreTP - 10
Cosellette +4 Store TP - 14
Hachiman Sune-ate +5 Store TP - 19
Ecphoria Ring +1 Store TP - 20
Chivalrous Chain +1 Store TP - 21

That gives the 6-hit combo.

Is the crystal a reskinned version of the crystals in CoP BC or the one in sky? If so, SE are lazy fuck to reuse old model, give it alexander's AI, copy paste a few weapon skill from various mobs in game and call it a day.

We won with 2x SMN main DDs, PLD/WAR tank, BLM kill thralls, RDM/DRK refresh whore and stun, WHM... took 25mins, but we were happy.

Really really easy final fight. You guys know the strat...blah blah. Overall, I'm not impressed with the mini expansion...It feels pretty short and annoying. I guess I'll decide on my body later. Either smn body or pld body.. decisions. ><

We went 1/2 on it - PLD/RDM SMN/SCH SMN/WHM RDM/SCH BLM/RDM SAM/RNG - first fight we got unlucky and PLD got mandagoraed, followed by a clone taking the BLM's attention away>ga>judgement at 14%. Second time around went much smoother - although I was chugging the MP meds like a college student on red bull.

I actually really liked that final fight design - although the pleasure my fiance took in sidewindering my clone to the face was somewhat worrying to see

If it's been asked already, then sorry since I didn't see it after looking over the past 16 pages, but can the key items for Gatherer of Light (I) drop from the Bounty Hunters in the area, or only from regular goblins?

You can just go to the top. You do not need to collect the seeds. Only people who need to do the climb are the ones that need the win.


And yes, you can take someone in that hasn't even started ACP.

In the same vein as Avarice's question, let's say we got a bad drop on our lvl 50 key. If we go back and farm the shards and help someone else do the fight, do we get another key or no?

Need to get all the key items again to get rewards. Otherwise nothing. But you can help without doing anything.

Holy HELL, this mage body is ugly as all fuck...

You know i am actually pretty glad they made the new bodies look DIFFRENT then what they ussualy do, i was sort of dissapointed when the ixion cloak was an exact copy of black cloak, and the Anteras Harness ---> Scorpian hornes etc. the mage body does look oddly wierd but AT least they tried to be diffrent this time...last thing i would have wanted was it to be a re-skin of a whie cloak or errant body or some shit, but now i have to walk around in a Trench Coat :l
