You know i am actually pretty glad they made the new bodies look DIFFRENT then what they ussualy do, i was sort of dissapointed when the ixion cloak was an exact copy of black cloak, and the Anteras Harness ---> Scorpian hornes etc. the mage body does look oddly wierd but AT least they tried to be diffrent this time...last thing i would have wanted was it to be a re-skin of a whie cloak or errant body or some shit, but now i have to walk around in a Trench Coat :l

Actually Tidal Talisman was the reskin according to fan fest. The Redingote was designed first and deemed "too good" to be used for the Talisman.

awww and i just gave SE SOME kind of hope, but i don't own a Tidal..and i never took a closer look at it, well...still better then something that's overly common. however, if rendigote had a flicker like tidal does would have been nice :/


But while i'm on the subject, what do Mike and Nuveto resemble? Mik looks strangly like HUME M Rse..

just curious since i finish mission last night and havent try to re-obtain the keys

1. fight gob NMs again > mandy for amber key?
2. touch 9 seeds in feiyin for azure key? (confirmed from wiki)
3. touch 9 seeds and dont choose azure key and get seed? i dunno if theres a mark of seed after completing mission tho, so i wondering how to get Ivory key really
4. touch gay 12 seed in tower, clear the final bc for ebon key? (all i know is re-obtaining omnis stone is for getting new body if you tossed old one, not sure if ebon key will drop after clearing missions)

thanks for info because from previous post i read, its kinda vague

nah i'm just pissed was the first one to get o the BC in my LS, so i go to sleep, and when i woke up 90% of them finished and dont want to do the BC again

We just won with WHM/SCH RDM/DRK PLD/RDM RNG/NIN RNG/WAR (me) and a NIN, 1/1 in 20 min. I think you can take the NIN job, voking off any clone poped and killing it. We as RNG just save the WS for those adds so the NIN even hit one of em. Sometimes poped 2 clones within the recast of provoke so the NIN was using any of his Ni spell to take it.

Anyone have the mage body on a mithra? None of the bodies seem appealing for my jobs (rdm/drk/sam/war), so I just want something that looks nice.

At 3 points in the ACP mission-line, you have to make a single choice for that earth day. Either pick the option that progresses the storyline, or pick a key. Obviously some mission progression nets you a key as well, so it's up to you go after immediate lesser loots, or harder fights for better loots.


1) Trade the 3 Seedspalls to the ??? in Qufim for progression or trade them to the Goblin in Port Jeuno for a Crimson Key.

2) Use your 3 Goblin foods to pop the Goblin NMs, proceeding to Mandragora fight for Amber Key and progression or trade them to the Goblin in Port Jeuno for a Viridian Key.

3) Collect the 9 Seed Afterglows for a Mark of Seed for the Qu'Bia battle, earning an Ivory Key and progression or choose the Azure Key.


For each of these 3 instances, you can only make one choices per earth day. If you progress the first mission, you can't go get 3 more seedspalls and trade them in until the next earth day. I'm pretty sure turning in your Goblin foods will disallow you to pop the NMs for that day, even if you reobtain them. Happened to me, unless you can't re-do any fight missions at all without completing the entire story.

I have been just repeating Crimson/Viridian/Azure each day as I haven't bothered with the final fight yet... hoping for some sweet pet-stat back/waist/etc. piece.

Won in a pretty steady fight with:
Pld/War
Blm/Whm
Rdm/Drk
Whm/Blm
Rng/Nin
Smn/Whm

BLM pretty much handled the pets. Rdm helped with a few cures, support, and did the stuns alone just about. Was only resisted a couple times throughout the fight.

It was a slow but steady fight. Took about 25 mins because we were delayed at the start because whm almost d/ced and then rng d/ced for about 5 mins at one point. It really is just an endurance fight.

Thanks. It's okay, I don't like the cuffs though. Guess I'll go with Nuevo, I always wanted a visible cape.
