seem like you prolly didnt have a omnis stone
anyone can enter the BC and re-fight even w/o buying the add-on

but to get a ebon key (or pri key if u tossed body) you need the omnis stone

if u already have the omnis stone and fight the BC and not getting the ebon key, then its prolly a bug

Having the Prismatic Key seems like it registers you as not having the mission 'completed' through to the final chest, once you use the key you should be able to redo Ebon Keys. If that was already said apologies, not upto reading the past couple pages at this hour.

Finally won last night. 1/4, my god that whole set of missions made me want to set myself on fire and hurl myself through the patio windows.

Anyway, we won with pld/drk, rdm/drk, rng/nin, rng/nin, rdm/whm (me), and a blu/nin killing the clones and cannon balling the crystal here and there.
Maybe not the ideal set up, but it was with linkshell mates, so that made it really fun.
Our clear time was about 16 minutes.

It might just be your posession of a Prismatic Key that is throwing a wrench in the gears. You don't have to toss any armor to re-obtain Ebon Keys. Simply: an Omnis Stone + Seed Crystal fight = Ebon Key and some exp. If you tossed your ACP body, then you'll get a Prismatic Key again... which sounds like your problem. Pick an armor already!

I did at the time I made the post. They're all really ugly and useless for my jobs so I didn't want any of them. I'd rather just hold onto the key until I find some use for the bodies, but I ended up getting the wedding dress royal redingote for scholar. So to sum it up, prismatic key = can't redo? Good to know.

People that have joined my pickups have. There seems to be a weird jumble of item prerequisites for rewards from the final fight, aside from the experience points.

You can repeat the final battle all you want with whoever you want, but until you re-climb Delkfutt under 30-cap, and obtain another Omnis Stone, you won't get anything aside from exp from winning. Assuming you have an Omnis Stone, upon winning, you will receive an Prismatic Key and Ebon Key if you don't have an ACP body. If you do, you will only receive an Ebon Key. However, I think we can figure out a trend here... For some reason, holding on to a Prismatic Key does not allow you to receive additional Ebon Keys. This is obviously a bug that should be addressed for the few people who are waiting on indicision to pick an ACP body piece. It could just be that using the Prismatic Key is technicall a final part of the "mission" that allows you to begin repeating Ode to Life Bestowing.

I think that's why they gave us an ability to redo the body armor. If you don't like what you pick up now, you can toss it and get another one, along with an Ebon Key. Hey, you can have new augments every day

Weird glitch i found.
When i fought the Batillia gob NM on my brd mule(with almost no melee skills) i linked a few nearby gobs and the NM didn't give me the seedspall drop. After I killed the 3~4 links i got the seedspall from one of those goblins.
I checked the key items multiple times going WTF while fighting the links so it i have no doubt that the link dropped a key item for me instead and that it wasn't chat log lag.

A friend of mine who had previously won but did not pick a body was helping out another group Friday night. he got omnis stone, but did not trigger the bc. They lost at 15%. Afterwards (when he tried to climb again) he found that he still had omnis stone.

Apparently if you have prismatic, you are considered a 'guest star' to the BC and do not get rewards, and even if you have omnis, it's not consumed, because you're really not a qualified participant.

Yeah, key rewards are once-per-earth-day... You can get a maximum of 4 keys each day.

1) Crimson Key
2) Viridian or Amber Key
3) Azure or Ivory Key
4) Ebon Key

Ok, i farmed the first leg, the beastmen, got my CS after trading to ??? in Qufim..... then didn't log on for three days, and i have farmed gobs for well over six hours in all three zones without a single drop... Anyone know if there is a timer on mission or something? Sounds stupid but jesus to farm for that long without a single key item drop makes me want to RAGE.

When you start the afterglow collection, you're given the option to go for the quest item or a key. If you go for the quest item then complete the BC, you get a different key.

I just did it with this setup and it was retardedly easy, save for a Judgment that got off and killed the tank around 30%. Other than that, had we not lost 3 members to not wanting to re-climb the tower, we'd have redone it and completed it barring any other slip ups. And yes I realize said it was retardedly easy but lost, but occasionally bad back to back moves can ruin even a perfect strat.

Frankly the whole re-climb sucks, it makes sense to have to do it again for ebon keys, but you should be only lose the key item once you win the BC. Now I gotta remake a wonderful setup like this again.
