Just killed vegnix greenthumb in batallia on ledge from beaucedine got seedspall roseum. heading to rolan now

soloable?

Yes, fight was very easy. I killed it in 10 hits or so, took 1 shadow down.

Confirmed this. When in a party, if you're in range of the killing blow, you have a random chance of getting the key item.

When the three of us split up to farm goblins in widely disparate areas of the zone, only the person with the killshot got the key item.

This is not true, we've been killing gobs slowly just to try this out, we had someone over 5 blocks away and they received a key item

My guess is that the key 'can' be used for the mission. It simply places a time limit on how quickly you must kill all 3 gobs (obviously very easy since they're pushovers). If you win the limit, the prize in the box may increase.

For those who popped the NMs, what did you do after trading the first 3 seedspalls in qufim? Need to talk to anyone else before trying NMs/keyitems?

Hmm but it was stated that he still had the Goblin Key items in his Key item list, and I thought you lost them when you got the veridian key.

Just confirmed the goblin in Rolanberry is on the upper ledge near Simurgh's spawn area.

From the sound of it these goblins are located on ledges you need an alt. route through >.>

did you need the 3 key items for spawning the nms? and where in saurmage is the one there?

So wait do I need to trade my salad/grub/whateverelse for the Viridian Key, and then with that pop the NMs? Or is the Viridian Key totally unrelated?

you MUST have the key items. i tried Rol w/o and it did not pop

You need the keyitem of the zone to pop the NM of each respective zone. Can be done one at a time rather than getting all 3 keyitems first.

hmm, my friends and I were able to pop the batallia NM with just the batallia and rollanberry items (no v. key). Heading to rollanberry NM now.

This is the worst first mission ever.

5 mother fucking hours. That's how long it took my PT to get all 3 items because of the competition in these areas. Didn't help that so many people had Flash or Stun either and camping exact spawn locations in groups. I would have thought SE learned their lesson about this from the last batch of WotG missions but silly me...
