Did small testing though pretty crappy lol.
Sacrifice w/o Solace removed Blind but not Choke or Rasp, so maybe it only takes off -na curables?
Lost exact figures on Cura but after a 1000 needles cura went up from 40ish to 180 w/ misery in effect.
Cactuar didnt get any tp moves off w/ auspice on where as it normal can get at least 1 off.
Holy damage went from 122 to 393 after healing 1488 HP for an increase of ~322%
I don't think it will be that high anyway. It's mostly for melee. It's basically pray. And you use it after the yagudos hit you in campaign with their AoE shit and you can support a group cheaply.
If it works well on actual high level AoEs, more bonus.
sacrifice -->esuna combo seem nice when you don't get hit by the specific debuff aoe
someone test out if higher cure %(amount) gives stronger SS?
Just spent about an hour testing these, what was posted earlier about dmg taken influencing esuna/sacrifice is *incorrect*, merely having Misery/Solace up is enough to proc the bonuses on everything EXCEPT cura, banish, and holy. Here's what I've found (recasts listed are base recast, with no haste/fastcast gear and blm sub):
Esuna (24mp, 30sec recast) : Removes 1 -na spell removable status effect. With Affl. Misery removes up to 2 status effects including Erasable ones.
Sacrifice (18mp, 30sec recast) : Absorbs 1 -na spell removable status effect from a pt member (does not work with divine veil). With Affl. Solace absorbs at least 3 status effects from a pt member including Erasable ones.
Cura (30mp, 30sec recast) : Self-target only. Without Affl. Misery, is soft capped at 30hp. With Affl. Misery, is soft capped at 40 hp (assuming no damage taken). I don't know how dmg. taken affects HP cured.
Stoneskin duration on cures with Affl. Solace is 30 seconds, regardless of which cure you use. Dmg absorbed is based on which Cure spell you cast, NOT on how much HP you've cured.
Barspells receive no increase in actual resistance with Affl. Solace up, most likely an MDB bonus like Blessed Briault.
Auspice (48 mp) is 10sec recast, 3min duration.
Again, it appears that merely being under the effect of Solace/Misery is enough to convey the FULL bonuses of Cureskin, Esuna/Sacrifice, and Barspells, and the HP cured/Dmg. Taken thresholds only affect Banish, Holy, and Cura potency.
Can we get a stupid people filter on some of these threads? Don't post anything unless you CONFIRMED it and HAVE EVIDENCE.
Thank you.
Been testing Solace and Holy a bit, here's my rough numbers. I didn't parse anything, but it's pretty basic, so these should work for an estimate at least.
I used latent gear to swap and lower my HP by 194, which I then Cure IIIed to full. I repeated this until I hit the amount cured indicated, and then blasted the nearest low level mob in Ronfaure [S] with Holy. All numbers are as 75WHM/37RNG, 941 max HP with this gear.
0 cured -> ~250 Holy on Ladybug/Pugil
1k cured -> 350 Holy on a Ladybug
2k cured -> 673 Holy on a Ladybug
10k cured -> 672 Holy on a Pugil
I'm doing more tests now to confirm the cap, and also to see the damage with no gear.
Edit:
0 cured -> 180 Holy on a Pugil with no gear whatsoever on
1940 cured -> 560 Holy on a Pugil with no gear whatsoever on
yeah I forgot to mention that, the range on Cura, Esuna, and Auspice is 10', centered around yourself.
Auspice takes ~4-5 seconds to cast with /blm (seems like around the same as erase/haste) and it lasts 3min so it might be feasible for chariots depending on just how much it lowers TP accumulation.
Oh, 10 range? tried it out when I checked to see if Esuna removed Amnesia and it seemed to be melee range then. Well, could stand at 9'9 range on stuff like Salvage Bosses and don't worry about AoE moves then.
Testing could be done on a PL situation, with much lower level target?
Atreides, when you say that with Misery active Esuna removes up to two Erase-able effects, do you mean without taking any damage whatsoever? Because when I tried it before taking damage it removed my Accuracy Down but not my friend's. Also, when I tried to use Sacrifice on his Silence it didn't work (without taking damage), but then worked with Poison after I'd taken a hit.
I tested it immediately after zoning out of my moghouse, using Vitriol (def. down) and Poison/Blinding potions. Without Affl. Misery up it would only remove either the Poison/Blind effect, but with Affl. Misery up it would always remove 2 of the 3. I hadn't taken any damage since I logged in.
I came to the same conclusions regarding Sacrifice using the vitriol/potions on a friend.
Maybe Sacrifice doesn't work on silence/petri? I suppose it's worth testing with other status effects.
