Yeah, gnats weren't too hard. Tank pt with some DDs and support, and 2 BLMs in second pt. Hardest part was keeping the babies asleep. They resist quite a bit.. NM is annoying but lacks any real offense.

Did it with only 1 Pld tank granted he has an Aegis.

We did it with one tank the first time, and it never used encurse. Then second time it used it and we wiped... not sure if something triggers encurse or it's just random.

Done it with a non-Aegis PLD/NIN, just used SCH's Stoneskinga to counter encurse.
Setup was PLD RDM/BLM SCH DNC/NIN BRD WHM I think, curse proc'd only once.

I tanked it on NIN/WAR while dualboxing BRD. I tried evasion setup to start, but it didn't work well, even /w Double Mambo. (Eyeballed around 20% evade rate.) Swapped to Marches, was no problem at all.

Setup was:

NIN/WAR me + Dualbox BRD/WHM, SAM/NIN(Relic), COR/WAR, RDM/WHM, BLM/RDM

I held Goldcap at the pop, and melee'd it. BLM sleepga'd and SAM + COR knocked down the babies. Goldcap was at like ~75%-80% by the time babies were down.

Last time we did it, I was on DRK and had a PLD tank it. PLD was well geared but no relic or anything. Still went fast/easy.

I've been doing it with PLD/NIN(no ageis) BRD RDM BLM SAM RNG(Relic bow). Tank pops, BLM sleepgas, SAM tanks the adds while the RNG pulls them. Maybe your healers might need to step up on the getting debuffs off dunno. Never lost :X

Goldcap one sounds pretty random - we did with 6 (PLD, SCH, BRD, RDM, SAM, RNG) and won in about ~5 minutes or so. I don't think I ever saw an encurse go off while the PLD was holding the boss, and I tanked most of it on SAM after the mini's were down and never had it go off there either.

The problem is the en-curse and no elegy for us. The BRD we were planning to do this with is about as smart as cement and has 3k AN to his name despite being in a LS that does DI and SW daily. So that's something we need to overcome on an individual level.

The en-curse effect however does literally 1400 HP worth of damage and does seem to be completely random. I think the increased landing of hits due to no elegy increased our chances to encounter the en-curse but from what kereboz said, clearly it isn't just us.

Maybe we got unlucky, I logged him on and did 7x Streetsweepers earlier then used all of his AN to buy a blue box for tonight. I don't care much if he can't get points / money for DI / SW so long as I can play him for our ANNM :D (dumbass can campaign on his own time) Hopefully I'll have better results tonight.

Edit: I was on BLU for all ANNM fights btw so I can't comment personally about the PLD experience. Needs moar shield blocks blocking status effects imo.

What do Dark Ixion and Sandworm have anything to do with suffering Campaign to farm up Allied Notes?

On a related note, though, I'm the Bard that Drace ran with and I was able to land Requiem on that idiot mushroom. It has no resistance whatsoever. Of course, the problem with that is that it has essentially an AoE version of Pandemic Nip (so does the Gnat, FYI), so all those happy enfeebles we tossed onto the Goldcap got thrown back at all of us when it was at 5% HP or so. Just a warning in that respect.

We did Goldcap with 7 and cleared it in about 14minutes with no WHM and 1 PLD without Aegis, though he did get dropped to like 8HP at one point and was poisioned. Found that debuffing the Goldcap was actually much more painful than just leaving him alone, since he throws all his debuffs back at everyone, and we didn't have a WHM for Esuna. Once we got the crawlers out of the way, we just straight tanked it and it was more managable than when the PLD was kiting it. I died to Silence gas at like 20% :/

Got caught offguard with that Microspores technique and it sucks to get all debuffs thrown back in AOE form.

Seemed around 25% he decided to empty all his "caps" in rapid succession as well. Other than that its adds are really easy.... they are crawlers after-all.

Setup: THF WAR BRD BLM RDM WHM PLD.

Anyone know if the bomb adds in Garliage use Self-Destruct and/or anything regarding the Eldieme Necropolis ANNM?

Did all with 7 today, but still not bad loot. It's not Imp ingots or Star sapphires (yet!), but it'll do. Except for the Sauro drops. Can't get much more worthless than that.

Those Blm JSE Gloves are pretty sexy, sort of a mix between AF+1 and Morrigans.

I was more referring to the maybe 20k total in loot drops The gloves were arguably the best piece we've seen so far since it wasn't some retarded pet augment on NIN gear or something.

Just had an issue with the Blue Crate where one of our PLD had one and couldn't pop it. GM had to remove key item from list and he had to go back and get another one.

Wasted time ftw. Just a warning that some glitches do still exist with this shit.
