That SMN staff is amazing... no other weapon in the game gives -BP ability delay, and only one other item gives -5.

WS Dmg +3% is awful. Well, it'd be nice on a Hagun, but it's awful on a D77 fresh weapon. The base damage on Onimaru alone is more than 3% WS damage vs that piece of shit, and it adds to white damage as well.

The 5hit GKs are at least interesting, but still fall short of a Hagun (though I guess they can beat Onimaru at least).

if you score the right 3 augments, there's a hell of a chance for a pretty fucking ridiculous BP macro piece. so far the known augments for smn are bp-5 perp-2 atk+5 and mab+2(3?). has there been anything else that gives a bonus to avatars?

I imagine the sam bias is due to their best "easily obtained" weapon being so expensive while other jobs get cheap weapons and various Perdu weapons which are free, mages don't do it since they probably think there's no chance anything will beat the elemental staves. I'm actually surprised I haven't seen more thf fay weapons being done since they're in a similar situation with the blau but then again thf isn't a bandwagon job like sam is.

I'm actually going to try and work on the Warrior Gaxe hopefully tomorrow (possibly the Ranger Bow as well). I'll be damned if I can muster the help for it though. King Vinegarroon was up walking around and maybe 1-2 people actually wanted to come out, everyone else stayed silent.

I have Perdu btw. I doubt the augments would really beat the Voulge but you never know. It could end up with something crazy like Double Attack +5%, Crit +whatever%, etc.
