Now SE just needs to add an item "cleaner" NPC that charges 50k or something to remove augments from items. Most of the "Silk Hat" and "Beak Mantle" items wouldn't desynth to anything anywhere close to 50k, and you'd get people more interested in trying this more often.
It's not going to give a shot in the arm to the crafter community if everyone's too damn worried about permanently losing 100k+ in liquidity just to get +1 Resist Poison.
