I'm still on the fence about augments; on one hand there's so much potential, realistic potential... on the other hand the apparent randomness of it makes it such a craps shoot.

but then again I guess that's what they were going for, and if we can find some rhyme or reason to it so that people stay interested to some degree then it would certainly give crafting a much needed shot in the arm.

A quick look through that obi's augment list makes me wonder just how they've got that one set up. I got one with just the pet macc, a bunch of other people have gotten enhancing skill, and there are ones with varying amounts of MP. Looks like it just rolls from specific tables like BCNMs then tosses the strength of each a semi-random number.

I'm either dramatically over- or underestimating SE and it's too early in the morning for me to say adequately which.
