I've noticed that most (if not all) PUP and DRG pet augments aren't very good.

Then I see SMN and BST augments and they're really awesome.

Wondering something on the augments for certain items.

The dude who got DEF+1 and M.def bonus+3 on a Koenig shield, I wonder if you are more likely to get defensive style augments on things like shields?
Or is it just batshit random?

Couple of pictures up shows the COR Gun with MAB+1, I'm beginning to wonder the same too. Maybe they actually went through and took chances of certain returns off of certain items, or made some specific for the jobs that use them, or something.

Just seems a little more than random for some stats.

Oh no not those sorry, I meant the actual Corsair's Gun pictured above, not the Fay Hexagun. I know all those have specific stat sets.

Edit: Took 4 tries to get this one in particular. 2 of the previous attempts resulted in pet: attack/Rattack +1.... and lower stats than whats on this one. diaf

On some things there is the potential for it to be leaning that way, but then you get stupid shit like Divine Magic skill on Genie Weskit augments, and... well.. Dunno what to say to that.
