Sounds like they are simply forcing more of the same job now.. low manning some things might become more difficult (3 bards with Troub for max elegy...)
^ Lmao.
You've tried to lobby for RDM melee in every thread you've posted in. All of your situations involve other people modifying their strategies in some dumbfuckish way in order to get your RDM to melee. The point of a zerg is for it to be fast, and not complicated. If you have to wait for a RDM to engage, WS, get an en-spell on, then hit the mob, you're wasting a fuckton of time and you're probley gonna get hit with a TP spell anyways. Your little strategy above involves removing a useful member and putting a fucking meeling RDM in their place.
Okay good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who read that post and was like:

Every village needs one:

What the fuck are you talking about? I was referring to the post when ppl are questioning if SE could have nerfed chainspell stun and make Bv2 not stunnable.
You definitely don't need 16 melee to meleezerg Bv2 and it can never hurt to have 2 chainspell stun. What I was trying to say is that if SE do nerf chainspell stun and DB is required to boost stun accuracy RDM can still use med to gain TP to open fight with DB. And how exactly is that a waste of time? Are your melee so gimped that you can't afford to bring 2 RDM/DRK? Cast enspell while your BRDs are buffing melee, engage Bahamut and unleash Death Blossom. It's not going to take longer than waiting for your DRG and THF to put Feint and Angon on Bahamut.
Idiots are stupid, if you can't understand such a simple concept just shut your mouth and stop making yourself look like and idiot. Next time I post something complicated may be I should give you a step by step walkthough?
Here's the thing you seem to be missing. We shouldn't have to suddenly bring another RDM/DRK just because with no warning or notes our spells are suddenly half as effective.
Your bullshit about linkshells just needing to bring a melee RDM if only they would listen needs to gtfo. If suddenly Samurai WS did half as much damage with the best gear possible, people would be going apeshit. GUYS, JUST BRING ANOTHER SAMURAI!
Ahlah,
Here's an idea.
Instead of posting fucktardedly complicated, fucktardedly stupid theorycraft based soley on premises that you don't even have any way (other than Otherwiki) to know might possibly be true....maybe try attempting these fucktarded feats yourself?
Instead of saying "Hai gaiz, the RDM should melee and use Death Blossom!" regardless of what is being talked about?
If somebody did try this "brilliant" 'let the RDM melee with Enspell 2's and use Death Blossom' nonsense and it didn't work you'd probably just say "they didn't do it right" and continue on with your vacuous bullshit anyway.
Put up or shut up.
Read the whole thread before you even make any response. I was specifically referring to this post:
I didn't say melee RDM is needed in Bv2 fight, I was simply saying that if SE nerf Chainspell stun and DB is required to land it Bv2 fight can still be meleezerged because all you need now is get one of your RDM/DRK to pop sleep potion/wing and run in to use DB before the other RDM/DRK start CS + stun. There is nothing complicated behind the concept and since everyone else in your alliance is still doing exactly the same thing as before. And honestly how many alliance bring more than one RDM/DRK to Bv2 fight?
I am starting to think I am posting in newbie section, there is nothing complicated in my post (at least for someone with above average IQ), and I never say ENII/DB is definitely going to work. What really annoys me is ppl like you who outright reject ENII/DB and completely ignore the possibilities that this is what SE intend to make melee RDM work despite all the recent hints including enfeebling magic duration nerf.
Having to deal with noobs is the main reason why I quit the game.
For the love of christ, stay quit.
And stop posting, I know its "hug a retard day" but you dont have to go around begging for one.
Unfortunately you'll still have to deal with yourself after FFXI.
Melee RDM aside, has anyone looked at dots wearing early (EG: Bio)? Sorry if I missed it, still doing essays...
Except 95% of the RDMs who play this game didn't think we really needed a melee fix to make us go up and smack HNMs with our little swords. There was never a time while playing this game where I thought, "Gee, I'd like to get geared up on my RDM and smack Tiamat around a little bit." If I wanted to melee, I would level a melee job, just like anyone else.
RDM excels on the backline, and I - and probably mostly everyone else - am perfectly happy to keep RDM that way.
And now that it's been confirmed that CS + Stun was still fine on Bv2 there's no reason to continue arguing about bringing extra RDMs to melee it. So now the discussion comes about the entire validity of RDM melee, and I'm still not convinced it's even worth my time/effort to bother hitting things with RDM. There are 15~ other jobs that do it a hell of a lot better and I could level one of those.
Now SE, fix my debuffz prz.
So we're back to this again? No one on this entire forum wants to see any fucking word you type. Seriously, not a single person. You contribute nothing to any discussion but bullshit theories that you have no way of testing and one line passive-aggressive comments about "noobs" and "idiots" implying that because no one (everyone?) doesn't agree with you, they're dumb or aren't smart enough to comprenend.
Lock yourself in a closet, piss in a bucket full of bleach and take long deep breaths.
I am completely against RDM melee prior to April update and I still don't believe RDM should melee in merit party or any other low man events. Every time when I checked the composure/enspell thread ppl only care about enspell damage which make my eyes bleed.
There is a reason why post-TAU HNMs have such high resistance to RDM and BRD debuffs, elegy + slow II are insanely broken (60-70% slow effect) BRD can get away with BLM sub job thanks to Troubatour but RDM has no reliable way to keep debuffs on HNM all the time. If SE simply raise the accuracy of RDM debuffs it will make HNM fight a joke.
The concept behind ENII/DB is that in order to gain access to magic evasion debuffs RDM will have to work for it. Frankly I think it's a very smart way for SE to boost RDM without overpowering the job. If you look at recent updates SE have actually taken a lot of issues associated with melee mage into consideration. Composure and Auspice partially solve the accuracy and TP feeding issues. The concept behind Death Blossom and Murgleis also indicates that SE want RDM move to frontline to improve what they do best - debuff mobs. They probably change the debuff duration on HNM to discourage BRD from using BLM SJ and encourage players to sort alternative way to boost their magic accuracy.
It's really unfair ppl simply reject the concetp of melee enfleebers just because melee mage have been stereotyped as doomed failure. ENII/DB can potentially enhance the magic accuracy of ALL mages and SE already introduce new measures to solve some basic issues. Unfortunately with the mindset of current endgame players (as showed in this thread) its potential will never be discovered.
