I lol'd far harder than I should have. Especially because one of the emergency updates back in '04 (shortly after the Rng nerf/shield "update") caused birds' bodies not to show up, among a great many other graphical glitches, for those of us with certain video cards...

You kids need to shut the fuck up. Back in the Days of CoP there were Emergency maintenance's every day for a week after an update. One time there was a week full of emergency maintenance's that lasted 4+ hours each.
