Um... Are you talking about so you could have made a quick buck or because you can't afford to buy it off the AH? I'm hoping it's the former because I find it shamelessly hard to believe that you can't afford a 1.5k (Bismarck) - 12k (Unicorn) item...

Please note that you can turn the token on and off without deactivating the token itself. Deactivating the token is rather pointless.

Theoretically, you should be able to simply turn on the "One-Time Password" in POL, log in, have your Mog Satchel activated from logging on with your token, then logging out, turning off the "One-Time Password" option and continuing on with your life. I believe they stated somewhat vaguely that once you activate your Mog Satchel by logging in with your token's password, it's permanently on, and won't be affected by any other manipulations of your POL Accounts, SE Accounts, Tokens, Content IDs, etc.

Well the one thing you have to remember is that once you create an SE account to register the token to the POL ID, you cannot unlink your Square Enix Membership ID from your POL account, and therefore will need to enter in your SE ID password which by at this time has no option to save. So when you login, you will need to enter it in every single time. You can turn off the token, but you cannot turn off the SE ID password and it will prompt you to enter it every single time you login.

Is that really the problem here? I thought people were worried about not being able to login without their token's one-time password once they used it for the first to activate their Mog Satchel. This is most likely not the case. If the worry/complaints are only about not wanting to enter their SE-Account password in when they log in... christ that's just lazy.

*shrugs* I liked just hitting enter a few times to log in. I didn't have to pay attention to the process, now I do.

    As for my reasons:

Im going back over seas (redeployed in a couple months) and dont really feel like having to call my wife at 2am her time to get my key code should I get 15 min free and want to log on and say hi.

As for most of my friends, I dont know many people that dont have multiple mules, and we log alot of our friends in for other stuff. I dont mind the token and think it is a great idea for those that want it. I was just frustrated with it being packaged with the inventory we have been waiting for all this time.
You know, most times I'm highly respectful and appreciative of men and women in the service. I feel they are doing something I could never do, and thus have earned my admiration.

But in your case, I just hope you get shot. Seriously.

Wow, I wouldnt wish that on anyone. Especially someone who's risking their life so you can enjoy the freedoms of this country.

Besides, the particular post u quoted didn't have anything offensive to warrant that kind of response. Not cool on so many levels.

Yeah but I've basically started filtering anything he actually says because of the previous thread. There was enough stupid asshatery in that thread to warrant a lifetime of flaming.

Also, I didn't say killed, just shot.

I think his demeanor makes oh so much sense with this information.

Anyways, the price for a Mog Satchel is either $10 + extra month of fees to deactivate/reactivate... or $10 + manually imputting your SE password in from now on.

Either way it's probably worth it.

That is one of the issues that people were having...they didn't want to spend an extra 3 seconds to enter in their password. Also, a lot of people are uppet that the password from the Square Enix Member ID doesn't automatically save.

the only thing i dont like is that when i hit tab, it goes to the checkbox and not the accept button. so i turn off the autosave instead.

God forbid you have one extra step. It happens to me as well but I just kind of you know, deal with it. QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ

No, you can't. If you disable it from your SE account page, that deactivates the token. Changing the setting in POL is only to tell POL viewer to ASK for a one-time password. If you have a token enabled and set POL to not ask, you won't be able to log in.

What the shit would be the point of POL having an option to use or not use the One-Time Password?

Can the people who worship the token/SE just shut up in one single topic? Some of us don't want to use it. It's none of your business. Get over it. Go post in another topic how the security is so awesome and everyone who doesn't use it is a moron who needs to die.

Supposedly people in Texas and areas close have gotten their today. Has anyone actually done the deactivation process and can outline it for us?
