Also, I would say most people will keep their mules around for Bonanza stuff, crafting, checking AH, and other things. I doubt many people are going to get the satchel and cancel a dozen mules in the process, though I may be wrong.
You obviously don't think it was about the money, nor do I ... I can afford it np. But yeah, some people do, I guess?

My mules are all for excess gear and materials, so if I can shift that stuff around I can eliminate at least one. Sure, I'd lose the convenience of checking the AH in that city, but travel these days is pretty easy even to the remotest of locations. I don't craft on my mules and I could always recreate them for 2-3 months for Bonanza if needed, so that's not a big deal.

All I'm saying basically is that the people who are complaining about the cost (again, not you), need to slow down and put their brain to work. The token is practically free if you want it to be.

I never really looked at it that way haha. If you activate a token you get your inventory in space back. Your inventory can now hold 80 items. A mule by default has 80 spaces, 30 inventory 50 mog safe. By spending 10 dollars on this satchel, in 10 months you will have gotten your investment back by deleting a mule and no longer paying for it. This becomes an even faster return on your investment if you get another mule and get a satchel for that as well.

I still see Neo's point of basically alienating anyone who doesn't have a keychain from getting this benefit, but in reality you save money if you play for more than 10 months.

...unless you also use mules for things like gardening, buying/selling items in other starter cities, etc.

The point is mostly valid, though.

    And there you go.

Wanting (up to) 80 extra inventory slots has nothing to do with being concerned about login security. It should be fairly simple to understand that many people want more inventory but DON'T want to have to type in a new password on every login. These people are trying to figure out a way to get the extra inventory (which, again, is not intrinsically* tied to account security) without having to be stuck with a token password.

*Compare this to, say, Squenix implementing a way to allow you to directly access mule inventory from a main account. Trying to get the "extra inventory" without actually getting (and paying for) mules would be silly, because the mules are a necessary part of the equation. In contrast, the linking of satchels to security tokens is arbitrary; it just as well could have been (and arguably should have been) included with ACP.

Yea, the 'formula' doesn't hold true 100% of the time, but I can tell you see what I was getting at.

For the record, I ordered 3 of these for myself, brother and girlfriend. I can't wait for these to get here!

Though it is kinda funny you want people to shut up about it and 'get over it' when the people who don't want it or want to use it seem to can't shut up and get over things themselves.
3/10, no one is that stupid.

If you're really not trolling... Hi. 80 extra inventory. Has nothing to do with extra security. Stop licking SE's balls. It's pretty sad that you'll lose sleep over other people using the satchel without the token. Because one of them is wanted and the other is not.

You're the ones shitting up a thread that had nothing to do with debating the merits of the stupid token and attacking any poster who makes the fucking decision for themselves that they don't want to use the fucking thing.

If you get the sachet, and keep your mules, you get a bonus 30+ spaces on each mule too. As far as people bitching, I can only really justify those with real life circumstances that make carrying or using the security token a risk/problem in itself. The Neo example of being shipped overseas is a good one.

You're lucky Square-Enix even gave you a choice whether or not to buy it. I wouldn't have blamed them if they made it mandatory if you wanted to keep playing.

Satchel. Not satchet. Stop staying satchet. It's not even a word, but a misspelling of sachet. Stop it. All of you.

Why do you care so much? Does it affect you?

Half of you people wouldn't even bat an eye at open botting, but act like someone making an informed decision and accepting the risks of not using the token is personally coming to your house and crucifying your dog.

You shouldn't have the right to choose how secure Square-Enix's property is, they should, it is theirs after all.

And SE chose to allow deactivation. It's not a fucking hack or exploit. Again: why do you care? I've never seen so many people butthurt that others have the ability to make a choice that only affects themselves. Worse than mac fanboys/jesus freaks...

This is a useful function I'm glad they provided for people who may be temporarily unable to use the token for any reason.

I don't care. I'm just explaining to people who don't understand that they don't own their character. Square-Enix has the right to protect themselves against players misusing their property. These poor choices do, in fact, hurt everyone. Do you have any idea how much money it costs Square-Enix to both prevent and rectify hacked accounts, when the problem isn't even their fault? Those resources could be used to provide players with more updates, more content, and more fun for our money. The only person butthurt here is you.
