Hello all,

New here! Finally decided to give FFXI an actual try. I'm completely new and i know VERY LITTLE about the game in general.... trying to learn quickly but most of the guides and information i read seems to be completely out of date.

I'm a long time FFXI player started at PS2 launch(no I do not use it anymore lol). Took a break after about 4-5 years of playing came back a bit over a year and a half ago.

Taru on Fenrir, I mainly play mages and I love the heck out of some thf, trying to learn a bit more about dancer so I can solo easier.

I enjoy the fruits of crafting however crafting itself is kind of a pain.

I love all the hard work done mining and what not on the forums it's been incredibly helpful.
