Downloading Crytalline Prophecy

On Tuesday my C: drive decided to take a digger and I ended up reinstalling windows and FFXI. I didn't get around to installing FFXI until last night around 3AM. Went to bed and let it update figuring when I got back from work everything would be ready to go. Problem is, CP never installed and I can't find a download for it anywhere. I've checked, and double checked the Content ID is registered, so short of re-reinstalling FFXI I'm at a loss for what to do.

Ideas?

Um... Crystalline Prophecy doesn't include any new areas... it uses all the same areas as Zilart. Maybe you forgot to install RoZ.

RotZ is installed.

Any suggestions on which .DATS to delete? Just go buck wild or what?

Thats what I was thinking, just a few new dats for CSs.
Make sure you have all the expansions installed, do a file check, and if that doesnt work uhh.. Cant think of anythign else short of a reinstall.

What were you doing to get that error?


Delete something from ROM, but back them up first I guess just incase fo whatever reason, and then do a file check from POL.

Logging in. Like I said, I had to reinstall FFXI last night. I got the Update started then went to bed. Got up this morning checked that everything was done, and went to work. Came back this afternoon and that's what I logged into.

I even checked Control Panel to see if it was installed there, so. I don't know.

Bastok Mines. I can log in, but it keeps telling me CP isn't installed.

Use windower.net update? It includes all of CP doesn't it?

Just did. No dice.

Is there anyway in game to confirm that it's installed? No new zones to zone into, but is there an NPC or something that's specific to CP that I can check? I would hate to reinstall FFXI, again.

If the expansion is installed it will appear in missions and "Add ons", if it's there you have it, otherwise you don't

It's there, but I still get that message every time I log in. I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope that's the only thing fucked up.
