Final Finatasy VII released on JP PSN

In japanese and on japanese accounts Hope they bring 7, 8, and 9 to the US because some dick stole the copies I had. I'm guessing this has something to do with some AC marketing strategy, so hopefully these will start hitting in the US. inb4juliano overrated.

i dont think id end up DL'ing them anyways if it came out in US just because i played it enough on my PSP with the custom firmware, but idk. Is it in HD? lol. Some of the older games were converted to HD format, no?

I'd assume a standard port. If it were rereleased in HD, we would have heard about it already.

I understand there are obvious barriers in providing games simultaneously to multiple regions (copy rights, etc), but I can't be alone in feeling that the JP PSN PS1 Collection is ridiculously superior to what they are offering in the NA PSN PS1 store.

I think I saw they are charging $14.99 or so for the game, which surprised me. I naturally expected them to include the Square Tax, but they have to realize they could of released the game at retail as a PSP port for $40 and made another fortune off it.

Pleasantly surprised, but I guess this goes hand in hand with their announcement of putting older FF games onto the Wii Virtual Console.

My PSP isn't modded, I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd welcome a portable, legal, FF7. Too bad the NA store will probably never see this.

I've done FF7 so much that I'm actually starting to dislike it more and more. But I would hope they release all of them, and maybe some remakes of the remakes and spin-offs that are on other systems. If they get off their asses and port War of the Lions to Ps3, maybe I'll stop considering buying a 360.

From what the translation I read said it's JP PSN for download to PSP. So I don't think it's FF7 on your PS3.

It's probably just a plain ol' PSX game you can purchase from PSN, which runs on both your PS3, and is transferrable to the PSP as well, just like every other PSX game on the market.....
