You can only assign slots, not create. And I tried to set it to analog, but it kept switching back to digital on it's own.

Forgive my ignorance with the PlayStation Store.. but, once purchased, the same PSN ID can download it on both the PS3 and PSP? Could game save data be easily swapped between the saves on the two platforms?
Can download as many times as you want, your account can only be active on a maximum of 5 consoles though.
You can deactivate it, it's under Account Management, simply deleting the user from the PS3 won't work. But if you deactivate an account, any content associated with that account will no longer work.
So if I download FF7 do I need a physical PS1 memory card or can I save my save game on my ps3 hd?
Also, having ff7 come out on PSN gives me hope that FF8 and FF9 will come to the PSN as well. I have never played 9 and I really want to. Heard it's awesome.
you can save it on the hdd with a virtual ps1 memory card that you make with the system utils (i didn't dl ff7 yet but like tyche said create the card before you start playing!)
and yes you should play 9!
So you can buy it once and use it on both systems, ok. Can you transfer saves?
dont think so
Sure felt great playing this game again.
Believe I read you could, the same way you can transfer the actual game directly from the PS3 to the PSP.
Link them up, go to USB mode, find the save file, triangle, click copy, and it should move it over. If not, then no.
Believe it was around 1.3GB.

As for the analog, at least with the PSP, its definitely possible to customize the controller by hitting the Home/PS button and configuring the options. But it isn't really true analog support, it just assigns the left/up/right/down buttons to the appropriate direction on the analog.
Downloading now. *happy*
