Lost membership PW

What can I do if I forgot/lost my membership pw? The pw to get into POL that is computer specific.

As far as i know reinstalling POL won't work.

I had a similar situation happen to me a couple months ago (changed PW then forgot it). I had to call customer service. I gave them all he information to verify my account, only thing i couldn't provide was the PO box # from my freshman year (5 years ago), and they almost denied giving me my password (awesome SE customer service >.>).

Anyway, talked to a manager and he gave me a 1 time use PW to log on and allow me to change my PW.

No, he's talking about the password tied to the POL account.

The only way I can think of removing the member password is by reinstall. You can't get access to the Settings section any other way than logging in.

I'm dumb when it comes to computers. When I reinstall POL, it's just POL, right? I won't have to reinstall FFXI?

Try deleting that ID off your list and then re adding it like its a new ID. That should work.

That is if you are talking about the very 1st pw that you type in deleting that ID off the list when you 1st start up PoL and then re adding should fix it you should be able to make a new pw for it.

You need to enter the PW to get to that option.
