Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the assumption Zanshin couldn't proc during a WS. What you're describing there looks like you DA'd your WS and missed the first hit, I've done this a number of times with SC getting a 1% return.

It can, as for any melee hit. When you get shit like 3 TP return on gekko ( and shit dmg) it's most liekly a zanshin, which should me caonsidered a missed ws, or a DA gekko with 1st hit miss.

I call BS and it's not because I am standing in it. Zanshin can't process on a WS.

Also, refrain from saying "zanshin Gekko" or "zanshin WS" please. It's not about me unliking the term, it's more about it being totally WRONG, misleading, impossible, etc.

I do get the 1 TP return occassionally. I always assumed it was the LOL Zanshin Tier 2 merit proc that i wasted 1 merit on...

I've seen a Samurai/Thief with no Brutal Earring get 1% TP return on Gekko. It can Zanshin.

I've never tested/proven whether or not Zanshin can proc on a WS..but .9% I think is within margin of error.

In any case, 3% most likely resulted from 1% TP return + damage from AoE/taking hate

I already did a similar test on Lesser Colibris which I posted in my old YGK atk bonus testing thread, but the sample wasnt huge, only 1 stack of blinding potions was used.

I had a 31-33% Melee acc (geared properly to achieve this, i wanted to have as low hit rate as possible while paying attention not to hit the soft cap of 20%) and WS acc ended up being ~85%, so I estimated a hit rate+50% bonus or accuracy+100. Rough estimation was all i was looking for.

it always evens out in the end. even on mobs like byakko and lurkers. youll end up with 95% WS acc is your motivated enough to merit/gear yourself for it. even on mobs like AV.

the only time i see it miss is the random misses its going to do anyway to even it out and when its my fault aka scoffin does that evasion boost move or theres a flash. missing your entire 2h is just bad luck. it happened to me once before too lol.
