Warlock's Roll (RDM/MACC bonus) have improved my QD accuracy. No solid proof, but I think most CORs would agree with me.

I would agree M.Acc does effect Quick Draw. Since I noticed a huge diference when I did/didn't have Warlocks active when I was fighting Tiamat.

M.Crit doesn't though sadly. Was hoping I wouldn't have to get the rest of my grips ; ;

I respect your opinion a lot but I can see why this person chose Magic Acc over MAB. If he's lucky enough to use his COR in a lot of HNM settings, Magic Acc might help on some mobs where they can resist the shit out of you if you spam long enough.

Honestly as heated at this is, there should be a thread just for the idea of weather or not Magic Accuracy is a myth or not for Corsair.

If you're hitting a lot of resists because of spamming on a high tier would 4 acc really be the deal-breaker? It would all depend on the ratio of the percentage down of resists relative to added magic acc.

Well I'm going to assume that the COR in question who gets this will also be carrying around HQ Staves as well to add to that. It's conjecture really but from what some people have said with their own testimonials, Magic Accuracy does play a role in Shots with a Corsair.

Right...but even if it does increase the acc without knowing how much I wouldn't add it to the body is all I'm saying. If you're going to have a 1% decrease in resist rate over 100 shots assuming 75% base resist:
2*(Gun base DMG + bullet base DMG)*(1+(MAB/100))*(staff bonus)
Base formula (assuming 75% resist rate and base MAB of 10)
(2*(41+70)*(1+0.1)*1.15)*75+(0.8*(2*(41+70)*(1+0.1 )*1.15))*25 = 266.7885/shot

Taking New body with MAB+ and all other things remaining the same:
=(2*(41+70)*(1+0.14)*1.15)*75+(0.8*(2*(41+70)*(1+0 .14)*1.15))*25 = 276.4899/shot

Assuming 1% magic acc increase and taking away the MAB+ you could have:
(2*(41+70)*(1+0.1)*1.15)*76+(0.8*(2*(41+70)*(1+0.1 )*1.15))*24 = 267.35016/shot

Assuming 5% magic acc increase and taking away the MAB+ you could have:
=(2*(41+70)*(1+0.1)*1.15)*80+(0.8*(2*(41+70)*(1+0. 1)*1.15))*20 =
269.5968/shot

Now obviously I made a lot of assumptions here...namely no full resists only the 80% resists...but you can see where I'm going I think.

See, if they are using HQ staves, Im also going to assume that they have 5/5 QD Acc and are using warlocks roll as well. So IF Macc plays a roll into QD, I would think with that much macc, they would be getting better returns over all from the MAB+4 then the Macc+4.

Bingo.

Just because people steadfastly believe that Macc factors into Quick Draw (they might be right!), it doesn't mean they aren't being retarded to get that on their body piece. QDA merits and plenty of AGI in other slots will give you all the Quick Draw accuracy you could reasonably ever need ... throw HQ staves on top of that and the decision for a COR to put Macc on their ACP Body just gets worse and worse.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking also. Magic Accuracy on the piece is far from gimp. If anything the person who did that obviously feels that Magic Acc has a better return for him then MAB.

Only SE really knows tho sadly.

Yeah I agree. I'm still on the Fei'Yin BC but I'd already decided to go with the Emnity+5 and Fast Cast augments for my PLD since I doubt I'll ever own a Valor Surcoat.
