Seers at 70? Don't they usually switch into AF once they hit the 50s? I'm going to assume they couldn't get help with obtaining AF.

As for AFs, only head and mitts are good for Curing. The most obvious lack is a noble's tunic. But again, if it's a sync and he's 75, he has no fucking excuse.

Nobles or V.Cloak would be good I would think, but doubt the person can afford either based on the gear shown.
