Get the fuck out of this thread. Justifying fang necklace,NQ lv36 STR rings, and NQ Beetle earrings for a 53 DRK in any way, shape, or form is an absolutely horrifying thought. I don't give a fuck if it's your first or 5th job, if your total gear cost is under 40k, then you very obviously need to make some fucking improvements.

I'm not saying he isn't gimp. He's a terrible gimp. Just doesn't seem worth the time to call him out on it when he obviously doesn't have a clue, and is actually farming for better shit. There's a difference between a 75Pld/Nin sporting full AF1 and dualweilding durandals at DI, and some random first-time lvl50 not having Snipers yet.

Edit: For the record, I don't even know the guy. Never seen him before in my life. But the gimp thread was hardly made to point fun at every random new guy who picks up a copy of ffxi. If he was telling you that TP in Str rings was better cuz he hits harder, fuck, go for it. But he isn't.
