Nah, RNG was gimp. No question about it. Just saying I've seen worse. I'm not the only one who did either. It's on the right track, just got some rather wtf and obviously cheap-ass choices.

I just posted two seriously gimp Drgs too, that no one commented on at all ~_~ I'm hardly a white knight. I just see the difference between downright fucktards, people who are off 1-2 pieces on a good build, and people just plain don't know better.

This discussion is retarded. Sure, GG posted to try and explain a reason why a gimp was gimp, but it's not like people couldn't figure that out on their own. This isn't the "Psychology of a Gimp Player" thread where we try to figure out or get in the head of a Gimp ... they are posted and laughed or /facepalmed at, that's about it.

A COR firing off Slug Shot =/= a RNG firing off Sidewinder. Are you serious? Berserk adds a huge chunk dmg to slug in my build, since I have to add a nice chunk of acc to land well at optimal TP levels. It also increases melee DoT by 25% while active, and yes that does mean a lot. Joyeuse is piercing damage, and my sword hits average 60-70 dmg a strike w/o zerk up.

Edit: To answer your new post, I have access to a lot more Racc gear than Rattack gear as Cor, so I find it a lot easier to just gear for acc and /War for attack. I end up parsing higher that way, and I know a few other Cors here do too.

Berserk vs. Accuracy bonus and Barrage, which will out weight the other in total damage. id lean towards /rng. so your hits do a little more per swing, id rather hit more often and have big TP return chunks from barrage so i could fire off more slugs.

Change your FFXI settings to full screen instead of windowed, that will fix your fragmenting problem on the edges of your screen
