It just boggles my mind why people spend so much of their time bashing other players because of the gear they're wearing. Yes, gear makes a difference, and wearing certain pieces makes absolutely no sense at all but lets be serious here... who cares?! If the player and his gear are absolute garbage tell him, than find a replacement for him and explain that he is holding the party back from achieving their full potential. It's that easy.

Another thing I dont quite understand is why its essential to be fully equiped and have the best gear when your lvling at low lvls? I personally have many jobs lvld to 75 and to be honest, I dont have the 16 inv spots to spare to fill with garbage low lvl gear that is going to have little to no effect on my overall performance.

However all this being said im a firm believer that each persons "main" job that they use the majority of the time should always be geared to their best of their financial ability. Just take it easy on the poor players who have no idea how to make gil and how to equip their characters. Educate them dont embarass them lol

I'm afraid this type of argument does not work here, unless you have a fire Extiquisher, trust me i'v tried...and failed..seriously, get out while you can!

To summarize my feelings about gimps:

<3 Agreeable Gimps: the ones that are just misguided and will happily accept constructive comments and do their best to better themselves.

Would not post these people in this thread just for them to be laughed at.

</3 Aggressive Gimps: the ones that refuse to believe that they are gimp, and will argue until the sun comes up that STR = better damage = TP in STR rings for better damage.

How can someone who plays a few hrs a week have the reasources to properly equip a lvl 75 player?? it's next to impossible. 1) Who can not make gil? it takes like 2hrs to do BCNM runs. I have 4 75 jobs >.> im fine on room. I am a whm blm smn sam... lots of gear sets. So there is no reason to help the pt. Hell I bring a PL to all my pts and i still use gear. It shows you give a shit. Why do i want to pt with a person who does not care?

What does that have to do with the price of anything? Does the coffer key drop rate change if it's not your first job? Do the mobs get tougher if you have someone else kill them for you?

I think you missed my point. If it's their just job getting AF. Then they have more than enough time to farm for gear since I doubt it would take three hours to get all of their AF.

now, I know this is in town, but I've seen this person's real gear, and yes...this is her real gear. The only thing she wasn't wearing of her real gear are the rings and hands, where she normally TPs in STR (Ruby rings) and Relic hands.

Last I talked to her, which wasn't too long ago, she claimed her SAM does amazing damage, and there is nothing wrong with her gear.
