The Road by Cormac McCarthy. This chick I was into when I was living in the city got it for me before I moved. She thought it would be a good book based on the concept I was going on a journey. I'm not sure if I like the book because it's good, or just because the meaning behind why I'm reading it.
Necronomicon: The best weird tales of H.P. Lovecraft
Loving it.
Was definitely not Cussler's best work. I thought it was kind of weak to be honest.I am currently reading "Treasures of Khan" by Clive and Dirk Cussler, and I need to finish that so I can start reading their latest book.. which I forgot the title of.
Currently reading "The Crusades" by Hilaire Belloc
Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk
I fell in love with this book the first time I read it. Haven't read it in three years, figured it was time to pick it back up.
Yeah Cussler books are just meant to be fun. That's all. He's not exactly a fantastic writer. He's good but the guy has let his ego get out of control. I mean come on, you named your son after your character in a book. Then on top of that you actually write yourself into the books as a random benevolent person helping Dirk and Giordino.
The Wheel of Time book 10: Crossroads of Twilight
The Perfect Puppy, by Gwen Bailey...because...I'm getting a puppy at the end of May.
Finnegans Wake!
I've been reading some of Tom Robbins' essays in his geese flying backwards book.
Anybody ever read Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates?
Also, anything by Chuck Palahniuk is great. Invisible Monsters was great.
Reaper's Gale - Book 7 of Malazan Book of The Fallen (Steven Erikson)
This damn book is larger then the last one, fuck
Started up Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace a week or so ago, but I'm sidetracked on that 'til classes are over in a couple weeks. I've found attempting that one with anything less than your undivided attention is doomed to failure D:
I just finished the new WoT and was looking for something new to read and found 'Savages' by Don Winslow. It's about the drug wars in Mexico and California. It's full of action, adventure, and sex. Lots of nerdisms as well. Very (for lack of a better term) fan service-y.

I also really want to read 'The End of Faith' and 'The Moral Landscape' by Sam Harris. They both look awesome.

so far its Pratchett-ish, but with that Yahtzee flair "the earth buckled with a sound like that of two stone golems enthusiastically mating" for example.
Currently reading The Golden Bough by James George Frazer. I bought it since it was mentioned in Eureka 7 and wanted to see how it tied in. The book turned out rather good but I still do not see how it is connected to the anime.
