Nevertheless, I'm not done with the expansion and I'm taking my sweat time to enjoy the cutscene. Sorry for those who "dat mined" the dialog and read the cliffnotes. SE didn't ruin the expansion, you ruined it yourself. =D

I play this game for the epic plots, and it's totally worth it every time. People need to stop spoiling everything in this game, step back, and remember that they're supposed to enjoy playing it.

I think this is all just personal taste. In my opinion my 10 bucks is totally worth it. Then again I can hardly care, is only 10 bucks, I can smoke that I wouldn't care. I guess for burger flippers, $10 is a lot.

It's not that $10 is a lot of money, it has to do with money spent vs. product received. I'm sure you, in all your infinite wealth from your job that isn't a "burger flipping" job, would appreciate your mounds and mounds of money being spent in a way where you receive the most value for your dollar.

This probably goes to all the complainers out there. Really, where is the motivation of doing the mini-expansion? Is not like they didn't tell you there won't be new maps. Yeah, it takes one month, for the average player. Not power houses with 5+ 75 characters, l33t gears, 1 billion mules, and ten billion relics. Then again, they really made it easy for us. I mean I wonder what happen if we didn't have level sync equipments, wouldn't that be spiffy for this expansion like CoP?

You sound like you came straight from Alla's General FFXI section. The average player has at least one 75 job, and probably more. I'm not a "power house with 5+ 75 jobs". Shit, I've used one job for this entire expansion so that point is moot. You sound no different from the other people who are spending their time maneuvering their way through SE's colon. You admit that you expect that we should be disappointed with the expansion, then imply that we should be happy with what we got.

This alone is worth ten dollars to me. So the cutscenes weren't that great, so the battles weren't that epic, so the bodies are stupid looking, (find an aegis tank with that body, double shield looks terrible lol) but hey you paid ten bucks. You got entertained for a day, or two or maybe a few more days depending on how into the augmenting system you really are. I bought the expansion and logged on the day that it came out, and decided I needed to wait a day or two before doing anything. So yesterday I decided to dust off my 75 thf and go farm beastmen. Jugner first kill drop, pashow second kill drop, like 0/6 on yags, a friend decided to help me kill she engaged one while i engaged another, both drop key item. Then she killed one more out of spite, and it dropped, so we invited two people in the zone to get their items for them too. I had fun just going out to do somethin different, instead of scanning for dixion and everyday normal hnm crap. I'm sure i'm borked for being late on the bcnm train to get my body piece but I'll still manage to get it done. The ANNMs will provide a bit of challenge for a while, as well as saturate the markets with high ticket items hopefully bringing the prices down a little bit.

See the thing I look at is the fact that every update/expansion there is crap put in that most people do for a little while and then forget about. The ANNMs will more than likely be that, so two months from now when no one does them, prices of high ticket items go back up, it will be a good moneymaker. I mean really how many people were doing MMM's a month after the came out? One dude in our shell went MMM crazy for like a month and all the work he did now he couldn't be bothered to go back. So hopefully this just opens new avenues for people to explore and provide entertainment for quite some time.

Sorry if this got a little off topic, but really guys ten bucks? You pay ten bucks to go see a movie and thats what one maybe two hours of entertainment? For ten bucks you now get content that is in the game you play everyday. To me it was worth it, but I guess I'm easily pleased. Feel free to flame away or whatever must be done.

I wouldn't really call augments a part of this expansion, its just a mere update like level-sync. Want examples to a good expansion content? Look at Assault, Nyzul, Salvage, ToAU HNMs etc.

I guess people were expecting at least one real, solid content...its an "expansion" after all. Mini but it offers nothing but a decent story. No new areas, no new content, nothing.

I knew the 3 mini expansions were gonna suck ass badly but this mini expansion was the storyline from the beautiful CGI CS in the intro of the game and I wanted to see what happened.
The Developers said it would take about 2 months to complete if I wasn't mistaken and it took 1-2 days from even an average player.
I soloed the entire expansion except the 2 BCNMs, but I soloed the key items for the BCNMs. Went 1/1 on those easy BCs and the body was crap for me so I did feel like I wasted 10 bucks.

For 3 Cutscenes and 2 BCNMs they could have added that to the game for free is how I feel. SE is greedy, $14 bucks a month is way more then the servers cost and 10 bucks for this mini expansion made them millions. You see Sage Sundi's car? it costs over $300,000 lol.
Bout time they need to make these little things free on an update note.
The WOTG Nation quests are longer then these expansions and those are just "quests".

I feel like I just bought from an RMT for an augmented body peice. When you have morrigans and NQ weskit, Usukane body and Togi+1, RDM AF2 and you do not have pld leveled or any pet job leveled. I basically did not need this body peice and will store it on my mannequin.
