How does wanting better mp management tools or some attention equal wanting said job to become overpowered?

None of the (sensible) suggestions asked for "ZOMG MOAR DAMAGE".

Hmm, BLM is already powerful enough..giving more mp management, especially the 'bump up conserve mp or let us restore some mp in an instant' suggestions will allow BLM to do..more damage. Not per nuke, but it's basically just a butthurt reaction to nuking SCHs.

I didn't say whm was over powered lol. I like the adjustments. I'm saying people need to stop bitching about their job not being top DD job or best healer. SE did need to fix whm and I think they gave them all they needed this update along with the addition of /sch awhile back.

My best example is someone saying RDM needs haste II and refresh II when the job was balanced as is. People also bitch how RDM needs to be front line DD job and it's never going to happen unless you wanna convince you loldrg friends your joytoy/dagger will own birds while you watch them die because you're out of mp or claim "lawl I is no healers."

That's the type of shit I was talking about because I'm all for people getting better MP managment tools long as it doesn't destroy other jobs.

For the record I'm having a blast with SCH and have more or less retired BLM save when we need them for certain events. I play it just as I do my BLM/RDM and can say I am having more fun with it then I have had in a long time.

In a way it reminds me alot of what drew me to BLM/WHM back in the old days of 04. The abilty to do good damage and support your team, back when one could expect an invite at least.

In the age of 30 second Kirin and Dyna lords (Well what isn't melee Zerged nowadays aside from Odin), and 30k an hour xp due to the buffs melee has recived over the years, to say that even a small adjustment would "ZOMG OVERPOWAR" a job just strkes me as ignorance, or spite.

whm update i loved.

all in all loved the update and the add on was not that bad tbh, the fights i found a lot of fun. but hay thats just me. people will find a reason to bitch no matter what.

Yet again you don't get what I'm saying. I never said some jobs should get small boosts/adjustments. I said jobs should not recieve things that could break the balance. Normally what happens is when one job is buffed another loses it's value so it's a very thin line.

If you're bitching about BLMs and SCH not getting 30k an hour in solo/manaburn pts, it will never happen. Honestly, I believe that a well put together PT composing of melee, a nuker, brd, healer SCing + MBing could get 30k+ like any other pt, but people are too lazy to bother. The ability to do these things exists it just needs to be used.

As far as Kirin + Dyna lord burns in 30 sec. Do you really wanna waste more then 30 sec in dynamis not farming AF? Or waste anymore time in sky then you need on lolKirin? Not to mention last time I fought JoL, fafhog, and Khim it's primarally BLMs + SCHs killing it. So BLMs have their HNMs, not just the melee.

As for the second part I don't really care anymore as I'm done with my merits and gear for the most part, was just bringing it up for comparisons sake.

BLM only started QQing since SCH came out. I never said they didn't need an update as well. What I said is they do not need anything major added. Something to help manage MP better is not major, but if that's how you wanna look at it w/e. I said this 2 times now, w/e it is SHOULD NOT BREAK THE BALANCE.
