The reason I even say the blm "might" work is mamool @ nyzul with MNK/WAR SAM/WAR BRD BRD COR RDM we killed too fast to the point I was using Rana instead to keep a steady 30k/h . Switching a BLM with the BRD would make kill speed a little slower to give a extra emergency heal, stun, and MBing.

as i pointed out in at least 4 other posts random info. way to take one post and not the other 4-7 i have posted in the 15 pages here.

I'm not bored enough at work to read through all 15+ pages of Neo picking fights, people giving Neo the attention he wants (partially guilty myself), other people derailing this into a BLM job adjustments QQ thread and yet more people believing their opinion is the end all/be all of the universe.

Can just sum this thread up by letting Neo put a fkn feather in his hat and letting him prance around screaming "I told you so!" while the rest of us just avoid giving him the opportunity to create another thread like this when "Kupo d'tat" comes out by waiting a week or so before buying it to see if it's worth it.

I was aiming more 2DD BLM RDM Cor Brd and would need to be lvl 3 SCing. I know any old school PT with a tank+ BLM wouldn't get anywhere near the 30k TP burn

2DD BLM RDM COR BRD isnt old-school, its just a lameass attempt to force a BLM into a TPburn. Try again.

Old-school PTs are decent and fun for skilled friends, but the overwhelming evidence points to Colibri and MMJSP just being too good in comparison to other camps. Even Mamook is too durrrrrrr for a standard PUG group and that camp isnt even that hard or far from the staging point!

Back when old-school PTs happened, you had at least 5 camps that were roughly equal to eachother (give or take your setup - Ule, Lufaise, Sky Camp 1, Sky Camp 2 and non mnk KRT to an extent) and now you only have two. You have 20 jobs in the game and only roughly 8 will see lucrative merit invites. All that rides on two jobs being present or the other 6 (18 if we count every job) cant PT. Doesnt seem just a tad unbalanced?

P.S: Im only talking about merit camps, im well aware of the tank imbalance issue as well that dominates the game.

Are you serious?You cant compare the other expansion to this,the diference in content is abysmal.
Dude there are people that finished ACP in 2 days, and others runing round without cop done.
This is just a way for SE to sell gil, in my opinion.
But you keep arguing that is okay, so i wont post anymore on the subject.

Before I engage further let me just say that your argument is poor. You make arbitrary distinctions between content based on preference. I think the rewards for the expansion are pretty "meh" overall, but that is my opinion. I don't like the fact that it was so short either and we agree on this. But that is nothing more than opinion.

This isn't about "paying" for items. This is about you complaining that SE released new gear that is better than old gear. We all pay to play this game, and SE has a right to make money on it, and we have a right to choose to pay for it or not. I won't be getting the next expansion if I don't think it is worth it.

Your "analogy" comparing SE to RMT is mind-boggling. If you don't like the way they run their game there are other options. Why is it so hard for people to understand that SE is not doing this for free? And that buying an expansion and getting the reward from it is completely legitimate even if you don't like the situation.

Zilart cost 30 dollars, the content can be done in a day and it has really good rewards too. Does having the Zilart expansion make you RMT? If it wasn't for the Treasures overnight waits you could do that even faster.

Did I cry when Salvage made all of my MNK gear obsolete? No (well, that is because I leveled MNK for Salvage XD but the point is the same. ) Did I cry when Hissho Hakimaki made my Optical Hat obsolete, when (at the time I got it) the Optical Hat took far more effort than the Hissho Hakimaki? No, I just got the new gear and moved on.

Zilart added about 10 times more story and content, not to mention new jobs, areas, and sky (and yes people STILL do sky today). 3-4 hours of killing starter zone mobs does NOT compare to even a 1/3rd of that. Stop delluding yourself.

And there is a difference between gear being slowly introduced that replaces old gear and SE just blantantly pumping out walmart items for every slot with each of these shitty "add ons". It took me 2 years to finish my salvage sets that replaced my mnk/nin gear. It took me 3 hours to finish ACP and get my pld body that replaced even hydra haubert in flash/utsu macro. I guess our time isnt worth 10 dollars. I really cant believe you are a dense as you pretend to be in your responses.

Summon an avatar -> blink for ava -perp/+enm.
Using a bloodpack? First blink is for -BP gear (before you use the JA), 2nd is for acc/atck (before the animation goes off).
Ele Siphon/Spirits: Same gear (@329smn magic), so it's only one blink.
Idle Set -> two sets. One for -phy gear EXCEPT Terra, then one right next to it with Terra.

Different BP rage/wards have different macros swaps.

Lazy smns, etc.

Looks exactly like my macros, except I have a macro pallet for every (useful) BP (ps2 limitations, etc). Swap in relic Horn/YYR/SMN Bracers+1/Smn. Spats+1/relic feet for BP, swap in Sac Torque/Smn Earring./Smn doublet/Evoker horn for atc/acc. May be forgetting something, but that always produced nice results.

I used to use YYR over Smn Doublet because I'm a heavy solo SMN (let's face it, when you absolutely whiff a Ec. Bite or do 100dmg, the extra +5enm on YYR does help maintain hate for a short amount of time), but I did the switch to SMN doublet once I got 5acc/atck in G1 merits and 8/8smn magic.
