CoP was the best expansions we've had, in my opinion. I'm only partially through this add-on at the moment, but the story feels very weak so far. This really doesn't have the draw like the other expansions would like I expected, despite knowing the end reward is really good.

Same, b4 they nerfed CoP it was the shit. They had Quality BCs that actually challeged you. The last BC of ACP is the only thing that was even close to a challege. I would have to say though out of CoP 6-4 Omege/Ultima was the best BC I've done in the game because of how hard it is, well, was.

And if people stopped complaining about things like that..maybe SE wouldn't have went with the 'easy route' for future expansions and add-ons. But that'll never happen, because you'll always have that group of people to complain even after they get what they complained about wanting to get.

CoP sucked :/ sure it's nice when you can do all the missions at once, but you had to wait a year+ for everything to be released.. What did you for that year? As for myself CoP was 99% nonexistant for at least a year & ½ because they went the "add missions first, content later" route and I couldn't get a group for riverne site A#01.. Signs of a really good expansion right there.

This is kinda what bothers me. We'll never have a challenging expansion like CoP ever again because too many allafags complained about how hard it was. Now we get a series of mundane bullshit to do marketed as an expansion that people can complete in one sitting.

As if anything where any group, including people with the best equipment/skill in the game, is liable to wipe if the AI just plain feels like wiping you? Or that you should have to spend tedious hours preparing for a fight instead of, say, buying items from the AH or not actually even needing such crazy overpreparation to begin with? Yeah yeah "when I did it, I didn't need any of that shit, I was never in danger of wiping, because I wasn't gimp, so stop talking out of your ass." Whatever. Good for you. If everyone else were you, then the expansion would've been just fine and SE wouldn't have felt the need to nerf it.

tl;dr version: People will complain when shit's too hard for them. I know I hated pre-nerf CoP with all it entailed. If that makes me stupid/gimp/part of the problem, I have a nice hell you can go to.

Like I said, it's like old-school video games, absurd difficulty, but god damn do you feel satisfied when you finally win.
