Mirke Wardecors for THF

What are the thoughts here for WS and TP? Also, any guru's can tell me if it beats out DH+1 for Mercy stroke?

I personally did atk and acc+10 on it to replace my dragon harness... Still wondering if dual wield + acc+10 would of been better than homam, but idk. As far as it being better for mandau.. i could see it being good but i thought most used Hecta Body for Mercy Stroke.

Could be he has his single-hit, M____ S____ dagger weapon skills confused? Dragon Harness +1 would be the best for Mandalic Stab, crazy random augments aside.

Slightly off-topic, but what would be the ideal use of Mirke for THF.. a TP gain setup using acc+10 and dual wield (if you own a homam corazza) or a ws setup using atk10 acc10 or DA2?

Mirk is TP only, and meat. suhi or pizza or crap like dynamis and limbus = rapparee.

For meat etc i use Homam Corazza, for WS dragon harness, so wouldnt a mirke with acc atk be better than dragon harness ?

Hauby-style would be better than Dragon Harness for weapon skills, yes, but Accuracy/Dual Wield is better for TP gain than Homam Corazza for TP gain AND damage.

edit: weapon skills, not TP on the Hauby-style.

The acc/atk Mirke would still be the best overall thf ws piece barring skadi. It'd take acc + DW to beat homam for TP, IMO, tho the thf haub still competes.

If I had acc + dw mirke I don't think I'd use rapp for anything except recast, unless I'm fighting lvl 40-ish mobs.

I'm of the opinion that double attack is a meh stat for thf ws, at least for 5hit + offhand wses, since a single TA proc = no chance for DA.

Going Acc+10 Dual Wield -3% for mine surely. Then I'm dropping my rapparee.

I never ever sub anything but NIN on my THF.

I likely won't drop it. I just hate that damn body. So many people fulltime it. *shudder*

Fixed for me since I have WAR.

And a shell with 10+ THFs that doesn't zerg, but once PLD and BLM are 75 I'm applying for others.

You'd want to keep Rapparee around for any time where acc isn't an issue. Depending on gear/merits/food your mileage may vary.

TP on low evasion mobs (or sushi) = rapparee
TP on high evasion mobs (or meat) = skardi or homam or enkidu
TP for solo or evasion = enkidu, SH, antares

WS (all except mercy) = skadi
WS (mercy) = heca

Conclusion: Mirke Wardecors useless for thf
