it's a lot less boring/repetitive than the original, and it's actually a pretty long game considering the other big budget games that devs try to pass off for 60 bucks (Batman AA is probably the shortest game I'd ever consider paying 60 bucks for, and I actually ended up returning it within 7 days since I bought it used lol). All in all it's a lot more engaging and entertaining than the first, although maybe a little bit easier.

playing this makes me want to go back to AC1 and get all the templars/flags since I'm missing like 300+ of them lol

Also, how do you do the sweeper achievement (hit 4 ppl with long weapon)

Killing 10 guys in conflict is kinda hard, they run away after I kill 4, or it's big guys in armor that are annoying to counter and end up taking damage. I guess I have to kill 1 guy in a pack, and then run to another pack of soldiers to keep 'conflict mode' going.

But, eh, beat the game. 91% of trophies. Don't like sequel endings. I did like Ezio(*) as a main character though.

you need to get 50 feathers before that hammer is offered for sale. I'm up to 45 or so now.

I've been unable to get that 10 person achievement too, it doesnt count when you assassinate people in combat (by distracting them with mercs/thieves or smoke bombs, for example) so you have to do it the hard way, I'm guessing the easiest way to get the achievement/trophy would be to start a new game and do it right after you learn counter kill, so you don't have those dick enemies that don't let you do it.

I have no idea what they even mean by sweeping 4 guards with a long weapon, but yeah. I think I'm still missing the flying machine kick one too, but I'm only on sequence 8 or 9 so hopefully I can get to use the flying machine again.

Gotta say though, the whole underlying plot arc and the "truth" thing is fucking amazing, the series climax when stuff is revealed is going to be completely fucking nuts and I really can't wait.

oh and btw I'm still opening chests, up to 305/330, luckily it doesn't count the ones in "secret areas" in tombs.

It does count whenever you assassinate people in combat. I went to the southern section of Venice (near the restricted area) and grabbed all the guys I could see. Once they started following me, I turned around and dropped a smokebomb, stabbed guys until the smoke cleared, and repeated until I got the achievement.

To be able to do the leg sweep, you need to go to the Villa and pay to train long weapons.

I have tried restarting the game 3 times now, including turning off the 360 and turning it back on, but with no luck; it still freezes in the same spot.

Anybody else have this issue or is my disc screwed? Q_Q

oh snap, that worked, thanks. Just got the sand in the face, sweep, and 10 guard ones. The hardest was the sweep, as it takes a fucking year to wind up lol

did you try installing the game to your hard drive first?

How do you throw sand?

you learn it from the fight trainer outside the villa, they teach you throw sand (unarmed), sweep (long weapon), smash (axes), a pistol move that lets you scare an enemy into running away, and a throwing knife move that tosses 3 knives in a spread pattern.

edit: altair's armor is fucking PIIIIIMP, and it never needs to be repaired!

No problems at all here. Running the game straight off the disc, not installed.

I finished the story a few minutes ago, my completion time was 38 hours. I spent alot of time exploring, hunting feathers and statues etc. I ended up with all the trophies but two, need 20 feathers. The story itself I'd say took around 22 hours. Overall this was by far my favorite game this year, now January needs to get here so I can play darksiders.

Seems like a lot of side missions and boring stuff

I disagree. I love doing the side assassin contracts for a change of pace with the story. Storymode seems to have a bit of just "run here, follow this guy" so its nice to break off and murder some people.


I had a fun ass time killing 2 merchances for an assassin hit. They took to the rooftops running, I caught up with one, killed him and took after the other. Fucker must have been batman's ancestor because he was juking all over till I finally just tackled him off a building and watched him fall 4 stories into a crowd of people....goddamn that's satisfying.
