it's easily the most overrated game on ps3. if people were that good at making game levels they'd work for game companies, and when you take away the level creation the horrible platforming mechanics are too unforgivable.

i liked it but i'm also realizing i haven't wanted to touch it after a few hours of playing it, and the music was by far my favorite part of it, and i've caught myself just playing the mp3s instead of the game. so good point

Question about the Uplay stuff. How exactly do you get your ingame stuff turned into uplay points. I have the 10 welcome points, but I don't seem to be getting anything more

You should just unlock them as you progress through the story, some aren't until fairly late.

Finally picked up my own copy after playing my brother's over the Thanksgiving break. Went with the XB360 version instead of the PS3. First of all,

Also, is it just me or has the freerunning taken a step back? I'm in Venice now and it's really noticeable when trying to do the races or even the mission where you help a certain someone escape.

I didnt play this game, but isnt your guy suposed to get better as you progress through the game.

Yes, you get better at free running and climbing as the game progresses. Ezio is not a true born assassin he learns to become a better assassin as the game progresses and you'll learn more climbing and free running abilities as you move on.

I'm taking more in regards to the pathing and the some of the jump behaviors. There are times where I have the controls correct and it just goes completely retarded.

It did that to me quite often, but I just chalked it up to the fact that I sucked. Like, I'd angle the left stick up-left toward another platform, but he'd jump off straight forward to his death; or fighting to go down a ladder and he'd keep dropping onto the ledge next to it. I especially liked when I'd try chasing the messenger/thief and Ezio would run up a ladder like it was a wall with nothing to grab.
