Going to Rome this summer, any tourist suggestions?

I have a running journal that I'm keeping that I'll post eventually. Here's a short version. Venice is dirty and reminded me of Galveston. Milan is such a high classy place. Paris is pretty cool and the weather is very cold. I haven't been to anywhere but the Eiffel Tower, but I'll be going to the Louvre and Notre Dame tomorrow.

Went a few years ago (have family 30mi east of Rome) with a few friends. And one of the douche bags with me was wearing a Fitch shirt with USA flags on it.

Next day he was wondering where is wallet was when we got on the bus to go Termoli. Moron.
