I actually got quite worried for Boyle in the finals, she was almost shaking before the result was announced then looked incredibly relieved and ditched the whole groomed by Cowell thing before she went off stage. Wanted Diversity to win though (from the few I've watched) because they were fucking fantastic. The Sax guy who was the other one in the final 3 was pretty damned cool as well... but yeah... that 10 year old ballerina kid after chucking a tantrum in the semis to get a second go and the "bravest kid in Britain" shite... grrr.

News for next year: Every contestant start crying and demand another try to win over the judges and become "Britain's bravest!".

As for Boyle, I genuinly believe, from her reactions and general facial expressions throughout the final, that she didn't want to win. The only time she smiled was when Diversity won (well deserved!). Not really surprising though; the week she had probably left her wanting to withdraw.

In the end she came second, but she's still set to become a multi-millionaire providing she pulls herself together and is able to fulfill her commitments.

It's amazing how the entertainment business, being the one that pushes the beauty+packaged singing model, is so self conscious and out for profit, that it would actually try to go against its usual model because it would make them more money. Anyway, lots of us already mentioned how this was planned bs from the beginning.

It feels like some guy showing sparkly pictures of a red plants and an orange sky and then suddenly he shows you a picture of green plants and a blue sky and we're supposed to clap frantically like retarded circus seals.
