You really can't ignore the Mom's request, she'll think you're just avoiding her, which will probably lead to the mom thinking you don't like her. If you don't accept her, she will probably ask you, or ask your girlfriend and in effect, will become a nuisance...However if you do accept her...older people on Facebook are annoying as hell.
