I may respec into 3/3 Acclimation so that I can MT Hodir for my guild. Probably the best option for tanking, especially considering I can Antimagic Shell every 2 minutes too.

How did you guys handle Razorscale adds? Seems like those are a roadblock for some guilds
Well on 25 man, we had it set up like this:
split raid in half, melee and 2 tanks on left side, ranged and 2 tanks on right side. we don't go to the VERY far left or far right, we have them just inside the ring of the circle in the middle, and as adds spawn we usually branch out from there. positioning is a big part of successfully dealing with the adds tbh. if you draw a circle, you want one group just on the edge of the left side of the circle, and the other group opposite them. that way there's not so much running around killing adds (still running around avoiding fire, but long as you're quick it isn't the end of the world). it focuses the adds to the center of the arena where their respective sides can pick them off and tank with ease.
As for the adds, the rune weavers HAVE to die first. A neat little trick for people on adds is to constantly hit Tab when one of the drills pops up, because the mobs actually spawn 1-2 secs before they appear on the screen and run toward the raid. Use that time to tab target through the adds beforehand and select the rune weaver so you're right on it.
Runeweavers can be CC'd with literally anything, and we have a rogue on each if there's 2 of them to kick and KS when they cast. Really, the chain lightning is the only thing that needs interrupting but if Lightning Bolt can be stopped too then all the better. There's not much to those adds except they need to die ASAP.
The sentinels, we have one of the two tanks from either side pick it up (whoever's closest) and drag it to the northern part of the circle that everyone's on opposite sides of, ranged DPSes it down. once the harpoons are ready, just fire them unless you just got a huge wave of adds. 2 or 3 of the non-caster dwarves on each side isnt that big a deal to hold while Razorscale is down. pop hero on the first time she's down, we get her to around 70-75%, takes us another 2 sets of harpoons to get her down to phase 2.
Managed to get Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, Deconstructor and Kologarn down in ten man. We did them all with two healers and even managed to get A Quick Shave on our Razorscale kill. We absolutely obliterated Deconstructor with a DPS zerg tactic. Kologran was extremely difficult with only two healers so I changed to Holy and one of our Death Knights tanked the Rumblers. He died two attempts later.
Holy shit at those mobs before Kologarn and The Iron Council that do flame jets. Can't say rotating defensive cooldowns with the other tank with Heroism up is something we've had to do on trash for a while.
Also, the way Saga said his group did the adds on Razorscale is exactly how we did it too.
The trash before Kologarn/Iron Council are easy. They shoot off a rune underneath someone, if that person moves the flame jets end.
10: FL, Ignis, Razorscale, X2 down, only done a few tries on Council which seems to not be very difficult.
25: FL, Razorscale, Ignis should be down once we can get a decent healer turnout. No attempts on X2 yet.
Ignis is the only thing we brought in a 3rd healer for on 10 man, and really wasn't necessary, it just made things smoother and pretty much eliminated the chance of bad luck fucking us over. Razorscale was annoying because we had him at 51% when he flew the second time, and dots brought him down low enough to land about 5 seconds later.
Razorscale 25 man we had very little problems with the adds other than the Sentinels, and those aren't bad if you just have ranged take them down and make sure the tank gets heals.
When did you down Ignis? Maybe they fixed it because it was bugged for sure.
Acclimation is pretty garbage, just get some Frost Res plate crafted up to like 230 I think it is, and you'll be fine.
Mimiron is substantially less of a joke than all the other bosses in the zone, kind of surprised with that. All the hardmodes look pretty tough too, especially mimiron, I wouldn't expect anyone to get their iron-bound drakes for at least a month.
Mimiron trash can go diaf, we spent 2 of the 3 hours in 10-man Ulduar on that shit, rofl, no joke. And it's only 4 pulls.
The Mimiron fight looks fun, pretty intense with only 2 healers, glad we had 3. But we weren't doing that amazingly well with it, got to p3 a few times but always lost people before (it was late and half the raid we had usually are in bed by midnight). The first 3 phases seem plenty doable once everyone is awake, can't wait to see what p4 is like, heh.
Today, it's still bugged in the sense that he can melee on his charge. To avoid that we just stand as close to him as possible and pray, since the shorter range gives less time for his swing timer to reset.
The latest hotfix increased the spawn time of adds by 10 seconds, which was really the change that made it easier in my opinion. Also the scorch damage was slightly decreased, though that was not as much of an issue for us.
We went with some people in our guild last night for shits and giggles. Didn't have our best for 10man but downed leviathin for free loot/emblems and then tried Razorscale. I'm not sure if ours is bugged but as soon as we start fight 8 of the adds mobs pop up. I've seen other videos and it doesn't seem like they get as many but oh well. Got him to 40% before adds piled up.
Skipped him and tried XT a bit without reading up and wiped. Then looked him up and downed. Pretty fun fight and his voice is awesome. We heard about ignis being bugged so we skipped him and called it a night for now.
Ignis is unbugged afaik.
Blizz did a bunch of hotfixes last night on Ulduar, beefing up alot of the hard mode encounters and tuning a few of the normal mode fights.
It's not unbugged technically, but the bug is really rare to happen these days.
Like, maybe 1-2% chance of being in the pot.
We killed him last night, it wasn't that bad but it's definitely one of the hardest fights in there, more so than most of the other bosses
Any tank can tank it the entire time, we've used whatever class we normally have to tank full-time. Druids are def good since they don't lose much and can put some FrR on, but any class can work - I think using 2 tanks isn't the best idea.
But yea, Mimiron and Yogg are the "hard" fights on normal mode.
Vezax was no joke either.
Just optimizing shadow crash usage and figuring out what style of positioning worked best for us.
I don't see why you wouldn't, I mean they're right there and make everything go loads quicker. Did you cheese it by stacking under him? Because thats not the intended way to do the fight.
